I have 1 account checking (savings can do) which is associated to my atm card I have one account line of credit(any other will do), second account which is NOT associated to my atm card I have 1 credit card emergencies, but very small amount as limit on card, in case fraud, easily recoverable in case someone gets number and visa wants to be biatchy...
In most cases i keep enough money in my checking for a purchase, if i need i call it in with my phone banking to transfer from one to another, then i have enough for a transaction, if any clone happens, they notify me, as they see it, and i end up using my cc in the mean time until i get my new atm card, as they cancel your card for you without waiting.
I so far have yet to get nabbed (knock on wood) with any fraud or scams in this nature, i even change my cc every 5 transactions in case, as i do sometimes us it on the web....or restaurants with shady characters, so on the safe side, it's all good.

I tend to agree with you, same as the effects of sleep or dazyness can have on people inside car accidents, the only one that did not get hurt was the one totally relaxed and sleeping, I wonder how much of the actual damage comes from stressing the limbs into not moving instead of letting it move with the flow... Same as getting tasered, you might not react as much because your body is more relaxed, hence less involvement with the sedated sheep.

Thirdly, I would hire a geek squad dude (or put an add in the paper saying you need an admin to help quickly set up accounts on a machine for 40$) to come to my house and configure the 3 kid accounts and do all the AV install etc... for usually about 30 or 40$ per hour, as this is child's play for a learned admin, he will set up limited accounts, and tell you how to use your system....also keep his number handy. What he will do in 15 minutes will take you all day to figure out....also he may even be able to set up the rest of the kids consoles (if you have a wireless router) such as playstation xbox etc... to allow your kids to access internet from their other consoles....keeping the pc time to a minimum....unless they have no consoles.
Make sure to also ask for a backup of the router configs, in case he has to come in afterwards to reset it, as it is very easy to do from a backup when someone fiddled by accident or on purpose with your router. Also backup of the pc would be nice too, into a separate drive or partition that way if you ever get a virus and need to reinstall, you dont lose personal files because everyone KNOWS to keep their personal stuff in their personal folders on tat separate driver or partition.
First of all don't pass by another country to go get your dns name resolution, use in home servers, second, if you are hopping through another country for x reason, you have to make sure to specify having NO name resolution until you are in local ground. Why are they not doing something about this, this is an old problem, and still needs to be updated it seems.

Give me my parameters and i deal with it. If we allow to set up a company full of fake invoices to test a POS, then we have created a fake company....but to use a newly created POS to test in a LIVE environment is not acceptable....we are responsible for the results should anything happen, even when we are ready to install, we need to run scripts, we make backups to consult later in case anything goes wrong, and we have a save point so to speak.
Using life (any life, not just human) to test with , is not acceptable....to me. All the discoveries we have had, over the years thanks to other animals, should have been made on humans instead as the guinea pigs, not only would this force the pretesting to a higher level, but we would also have a more respectful view of life towards other animals.
I always said, we should only be so lucky as to have aliens invade and treat us like their food source (such as in Stargate Atlantis with the Wraith) to start knowing what we are doing to all the other species on this planet. We have the technology to make fake foods, binding molecules together to make synthetic but nutritional foods, that we do not need to kill anymore.

Had a daughter of a friend of mine who posted on her facebook, some really adult like comments about what she would and would not do for free, and trust me as soon as i saw that, i decided to approach the kid's parents but the kid had some excuse that it was a friend that played a prank on them, and her parents told here what sort of friend would do that, steal your credentials and set up those type of comments about herself.... sometimes makes you wonder why have facebook at all...!
They would have to devise not only a proper time sheet of when to shut them off in advance to also let most of their servers become secluded, but also then to regain proper connectivity to their own network and be able to handle the massive load of prestocks in the morning.... also time tables should add a sort of maximum possible allowance no matter what in case the peak season (as christmas is for amazon) would sort of super load their connections and avoid having to shut it all down in order to regain order for their own machines.
They designed it to do a b and c, if you go add stuff that you should not that makes it a cheaters haven, then they have the right to disable your ps live connection in order to not allow you to play games with others and get ranked for it.... However, I do think they are not allowed to modify your machine after the fact, if you decide use it as your toaster, that is up to you. I just hope that if I buy a ps3 that I do not get widgets installed by sony, that bricks it on purpose.
