I really look forward to a time when we will be able to arteficially alter molecules to combine them into meals, just like in Star Trek, without needing to grow anything, disassociate molecules and reassociate them in an order like a meatloaf, without all the pesticides!...
In all seriousness though, I do agree with your train of thought, the good foods are way more expensive then the bad food...but all in the name of consumerism though, as we all know how much the government thinks of us as expendable sheep!
TFA says about testing non tainted foods, well that includes foods that have used pesticides etc...so the one reason to grow organic foods to begin with, is something they have taken out of the equation...of course now their is almost no difference between the 2, it was never about the nutrients inside, more the fact about the poisons on the outside!
There may still be alot of good stuff worth selling as well as the land itself, or the facility itself, these plants are humongous... they should send an evaluator, to list all the stuff, and then put it up for auction...the rods themselves would be the last things needing transportation, and if you were to say ask the US government if they would come take these, and place them in a safe location, cut them down to small pieces instead of big ones, you could actually try to be creative, no?
I am always wondering if the cost of properly doing something, is equal to the cost of cleaning up after something went wrong? There will always be certain situations where all nations can lend a hand to help in the disposal of such dangerous goods,no?
I tend to think, fire the sorry ass admin over there and get a more competent individual that not only obeys policies but enforces them to no end. As well, dismantle networks as we know them, to a more stable (battlestar galactica) approach, of not having any computer networked together for safety reasons.
For the kids give them their own network router that is dmz'd and let them have at it on their own computer... also, make sure everyone at the white house knows the importance of just linking into the network, per se, to avoid future situations like these
This was a move pure and simple to stall the selling of TPB to anyone who might have more capital to move it forward. American movie companies need to start thinking with their heads instead of their wallets. Just my 2 cents..
Its not enough that they are making a gazillion dollars with their iphone, but now they want to ensure they make more. Anyone that has tried to get contracts to sell the iphones know its next to impossible to sell an iphone unless you have jumper through hoops, even then it is only to very few within a certain radius....etc.
So people have been buying them, cracking them then letting people add what they want to them, however they are not really supposed to hop back unto any big cell phones network. There might be a few that could allow it, but I believe it is apple's strong recommendation not to allow any iphone unto your network unless they have bought it from you.
All in all, they are being whiners about this, when most people breaking phones could hack those cell towers any which way from sunday, this is not their goals, but to add more functionality which is now a 2 month wait for any new apps coming into the market.
The thought behind this is to emulate the witchy mother that sometimes gets you so riled up you up and leave the game to get out of the house... duplicating the effect inside the game so you logout... sort of... I can just see it now... doctor> you are not doing much with your life are you... patient> wait a minute i just need to pick up one more of these herbs to get a new potion.. doctor>pick up herbs...? patient> yeah they even have some cool hidden terms for herbs that mean something else.. doctor> how do you pick up...these...herbs? patient> you just right click etc...
1 week later doctor (soundign like a crack addict)>
so when you go raiding in black temple, what do you really need as potions to make it through? patient> i could help you dude, but I would have to start charging you for these consultations!
There is always something beautiful if you take a really close look, such as traits that are not quite apparent to a first impression, but too few of us have the chance to look for longer then a few minutes without being considered perverts, psycho, or even stalkers...stare if you will to try and find that beauty, but don't stare too long for fear of the monsters' scorn.
it would take 1000 years to see if this works, and usually most people don't make it that long...! Is this for a regular 5 gb dvd, or a more volumed 50gb blue ray dvd?
Awesome, now they have to prove where they come up with a supposed 12 million $ lawsuit against a grandmother for downloading songs etc...this will definitely set a precedent and send a clear message to them for future trials!
I can just see it now, we create some sort of alge that somehow gets out of its containment unit, and gone unchecked replicates itself until it has no more source of fuel, oxygen that is, to continue reproducing, cutting our own air supply....sounds like we might be needing to bottle air up just in case a sort of self inflicted disaster occurs....! O_O
Exactly, and now having this great story, and losing the originals, that might have contained something some expert could have been able to contest as having been faked in some studio, now we really will never know, because they now admit to having been remastered.
I so agree with you, I tend to think especially that it was a public message to people about offering a sort of reward for doing something, even if it was done, but not the way the person intended, the result is the same, and he should be held accountable, and pay the sum, and lose the trial...for all intents and purposes.
This should also set a precedent! Thinking he was going to show no one could pull it off, someone did, and this proves his client guilty indirectly!
I would love to pick your brain about developing an app, as a developer myself, I am looking to be able to do a few different things with my treo, if not my iphone, and I am wondering about finding someone like yourself, where I could ask very specific questions which only mobile developers would be able to answer!
Have any links or websites, I could send you emails to? Thnk of it as free advertising as well!
: )
Grats to you dude, funny mod, but I wonder if this is a true story, if it is...grats! If it is just a story, it definitely encapsulates what most IT departments suffer from... (ours included!)...mismanagement of funds, and software, and network to further embellish the position of the admin in charge...I have had to opportunity to educate a few narrow minds to this point...only to get fired because the dude, was the bosses son... so although I pointed out to the board what all the ongoing hidden no,no situation in the company...which was my job, they wrongfully fired me ( i won the case btw)... all, in all, if you are admin and do things that cost more to the company then not, it's like stealing...you have a duty to bring forward technologies to improve the company/network, not make it more fruitful for yourself!
Problem, is that most bots are made up of compromised machines, and even they can be rerouting their attack vectors to ping from a different address, I agree though, there usually are a few layers to the botnet (botnet to control a botnet)....so most REAL botnet admins will never place their true botnet in jeopardy, when they can take control of a competitor's and let them do the attack vectors and get caught.
Just push more incentives for the local sector to initiate a solar panel installation in each and every home...once every home has solar panels, not only recycling its energy, but putting back into the grid, we will see the need for the grid to be much less then what it is now, and would then be unnecessary to expand...only to adapt the new introduction of power into itself.
This is the closest thing to an economic version of the universe imploding on itself... I hope that for all the wrongs they have done, they get theirs handed to them....by themselves! I hope they are as arrogant, hypocritical, spiteful to themselves as they are to their own client's and spare no expense to prove it to themselves!!!
Maybe anyone not wanting that the data be legally maneuvered in terms of company usage, like a court order forcing you to reveal the password might be useless in this case, as for TrueCrypt, there is a known backdoor in that industry, and such is used for counter measures to pedophiles right now in court cases, which is a sort of bug if you will with the way the drive is encrypted and the hashed password is saved somewhere on that same drive, or so I have heard.
Of course, they have to bring it down , so they can get a new budget, or keep the old one, and then resend the new ISS up to space, instead of reusing/recycling parts, have a full forge up there, so you can melt down steel to then reshape it, etc...
There has to be many ways of doing certain things, even if we leave it up there and start building a second newer version, then the newer version with its smelt, can add to itself by taking apart the old one, and so on, and so on...sort of like the replicators from Stargate SG!..., no?
It would be cheaper, and alos less dangerous, for people down here....waiting for that ship to drop!
I agree, especially when it comes to public info that is personal...they should be made also to reimburse all the banks with losses, due to the fact they knew about this, but still applied no fix. That might entice them to move their greedy asses. I am always impressed by how long it takes the normal average person to fix something up until they get that challenge to their livelihood.
I really look forward to a time when we will be able to arteficially alter molecules to combine them into meals, just like in Star Trek, without needing to grow anything, disassociate molecules and reassociate them in an order like a meatloaf, without all the pesticides!...

I think that in this case, size and mass are not really interchangeable...they might be somewhat related, but not quite 1 for 1
