Its nice to see someone taking their responsibility of their job so seriously, I know many who even if they were in conflict with another contract or job, they would still go through with it, just because they would have to get caught and prosecuted...and this guy is not even really that up in arms about missing meetings...I guess you can say he has some dignity!

For along time I have mentioned instead of giving any bonuses to the companies involved in making a mess of our economy (yes you GM)...they should have given car buying incentives, meaning that not only would the companies benefit, but also the people. Give the incentive to the people, then they go buy a car, and then the companies make a profit. Everybody wins...but did they think of the people, no, they never do!
You know most of the real geeks could not get into the armed forces because of their lack of physical stamina, so they end up on the side lines, someone finally woke up and say, hey hackers don't need to run 5 miles everyday....! I think it is great for the public sector to finally get a hand in what security (gov. security) is all about. You have much better chance getting scure with people who are used to eluding the keystone capers.
How does the Icelandic gov. allow something like this to happen without any charges? How does a company like this get insider trading secrets, and walk away without so much as a scratch? Is there no FBI investigation into this, to at least file charges and make back some of the money owed? If too many of these types do the same thing at the same time, does it not collapse our economic system.... oh....wait...I guess it did!
As such they can try to pass laws outside their jurisdiction, does not mean it will hold up. They may have been given some power, but as such they are not infallible in their process of what is considered their jurisdiction!

However, I do know that someone needing a quick fix for their violent nature can easily pop up a google map and locate their closest sexual criminal for a quick bashing, and forget to pop open the pin which would have let them know that Jerry was caught peeing on the sidewalk for fear of going in his pants, and that he is by no means equal to Gordon who is on the next page down, and also raped 3 women over the years.....makes me wonder if I should be glad or fearful that my last name starts with an A
I do tend to agree that a fine line should be set to be able to be on the special list needing to be followed as a very bad criminal at large, totally different then the streaker in your neighborhood
Whether you are a carrier of cellular service, or a provider of phones, seeing as you want to totally take control away from your clients, then you best make sure YOU'RE up to date with security, else face a multi-faceted lawsuit.
Being that TELUS closes off access to such things as phone configuration where you could just disable your SMS service if you wanted to, then the onus falls on them to incorporate better security.
As well having an iPhone means you are bound to the terms laid down by Apple, which means they will not support any phones that have been modified, well guess what, the payload just happened to brick your phone, and download an app that is a malware app....you no longer can call iPhone for help because you are now THE hacker instead of the victim....nice way to dodge the bullet Apple!!
