Snuff films, rape, etc...you have all types, but they have been around for sooo many years, are they saying we can't publish them on youtube or are they saying the contents of the film are illegal, this is what I would like
better explained, as well, being so cryptic about what is going on in the movie, does not help the average joe follow any sort of precedent, if you need to tell us taking a dump on someone and filming it is criminal, then say it, stop indirectly saying some sort stuff happened, which should not have happened, but we think it was bad enough to prosecute.....sounds like that bit from Team America for christ's sake....or are we not allowed to swear anymore as well?

Yes, its about time we include these extreme costs for keeping a bad or insecure environment working...
I work exclusively on windows with .net at work, and I am constantly reminded of the daftness of it all,
having all these extra security measures and application, to narrow down chances of getting any viruses or malware etc.

Sure there are some rootkits and viruses for linux, but between you and me, how many compared to windows.
As for the costs of admins for linux, yes...they might be higher, but when you compare how much it costs to bring in techs all the time because windows was scrapped or some server lost its boot sector, etc, etc...they lean towards linux and not windows in terms of cost efficiency.

I try talking to management about linux in a vmware environment to get used to it, and let them experience, the basic equivalency between both worlds...but there is always that linux is too complicated movement...I keep using what they want...
although if ever they did change over to linux, then we would have to get an euqivalent to Visual Studio for linux, because this is the best tool from MS that is a full monopoly to date.

I would love to see some c++ borland suite try to tie in all different modules for creating in house development that allows you to tie into your office suite, etc... as well students are coming out by the thousands trained with .net where as regulr c++ or python or php, they tend to be fewer than....so until this changes ....the movement will stay M$...unfortunately.

I always thought once you have a lvl 80, then ANY character you make after that unless you answer "no start from beginning" should be like the death knights and start at lvl 55

Secondly my GF is in import/export...so I hear alot more about the going ons of other countries and their importing taxes and such, compared to the average joe. I might dazzle you with alot of stories
about how most countries are trying to AVOID setting up too much taxes to entice the US citizens
to import rather then buy in their own country....but your mind is made up so I wont.

As for the taxes, I was merely saying what most people already think. What business does the government have taxing something on the internet where there is no real protection for the consumer.
When you buy from the internet, you have barely any real protection...get stolen from and go to the cops about this, it usually ends there...you get more action selling to a stolen item pawn shop
and having the cops rummage through there, then you do on the internet....why might you ask...because there are still many million computer illiterates out there.

If they were to take internet security more seriously (like extending consumer protection act unto the internet for internet transactions), then I would really advocate taxes on items. However, Amazon, or Visa or Paypal, and the buyer take all the risks when it comes time to extend credit for the purchase. If there is an investigation, it comes out of Visa, or Paypal's pocket, not the government. So why then would we pay money into this, when the whole reason for taxes is to better the government for the people...there is yet to be betterment on the internet for the people!

How many eStores have you set up, programmed or delt with, how many of those have you ordered from, and how many of those have you run, to give me a concerned opinion, or is this just a ranting and raving post?
