Since the website is/.'ed I must ask the obvious question: What makes a keyboard one handed? I can slide my keyboard over to the side and type with one hand just fine. (Yes, I just opened myself up to many jokes)
I have a 1968 Firebird with only lap belts and I have been stopped as well because they just look for no shoulder strap. It's fun to tug at the lap belt and say 'it's right here.' Then they get mad and start looking for any other "violations" they can find...
btw does anyone know if these boxes could tell me my 1/4 mile times? It's too expensive to go to a track.
This cannot spread on its own; it must be mailed or transmitted, then opened. Once opened, it opens a TCP port, allowing the remote-controller to connect and establish control over it.
This doesn't sound new, hasn't VNC been out for while?
First off, Katie the book writer should have checked it out and secured the website before being published.
Second, Katie the website owner should cash in and sell ad space, I'm sure she'll be getting a lot of hits now that the story is on/.
That'll work great, as long as you can get every city in every state to agree to a unified Florida-proof system.
That being said, why not have electronic voting booths that print out a small paper reciept at the time the vote is cast for a backup?
Actually yes. My point being, it's not suprising that a hardware manufacturer wants us to throw away older, most perfectly usable, equipment in favor of buying new stuff from them. It would be the same as Microsoft recommending that people upgrade their OS every 3 years... oh wait, they already do.
Dear City of Munich,
Did you know Linux may be infringing on 50 patents from other operating systems? I was concerned for your well being and thought you should know.
Sincerly,

Some brands of APs have better range than others. I get pretty good range from Linksys. Also, APs generally get batter range than wireless routers. But sometimes it's nice having a smaller range, that way the guy down the street can't hack your connection or hijack your cable internet.

How about sue him for getting burnt? Why not, McD's had to pay up for hot coffee.

Gee, I wonder why he would be recommending buying new servers?
