I was involved with a student game project at my university this year.
It's a turn-based strategy game in which you are an independent music label recruiting bands across your city.
We've had about 700+ downloads so far and I'd be very happy if we could give some of what we did to these kids.
Available for Windows and Mac

Amen.
Those of you who delete their history on a regular basis might not realize it but it's far too easy to have made a mistake once and then always have the mistake come up as the first match in the address bar.
It's less aggravating to throw it into Google where you can possibly even add some additional context for a subpage.
No kidding.
I've been looking for additional material to push my graphics card through recently and I was finally going to give WoW a try, so the "beautiful screenshots" comment caught my eye.
If that's even just plain average looking for the game, I think I'll pass.
Sure it's not up to par with what I expect from an "entertainment" product I've paid for, but it's definitely the type of thing that makes Science more accessible to kids.
And of course the dogs part was important. I'm guessing half of you just skipped over most of the text about the dogs and their charges.
while the idea of the dogs might be simplistic, once again it's accessible to kids.
I'm just glad there are people out there who want to make teaching fun and not in the kids are dumb as rocks way that we seem to be going in the education system.
What's next?
Sometime in the near future:
Man tries to buy chocolate bar with paper money! Shock! Horror!
Maybe this is just a little too random but that's where my mind travelled to.
Wasn't there some other game that was in beta that was tied to using your CC to buy items?
This would have been a while back. For instance to buy a pickax to dig for minerals there were different models available and of course the most "efficient" one was more $...
I managed to get my character stuck in a floor somewhere and I couldn't get any help on unsticking myself from anybody wandering by + there didn't seem to be any GM types on hand to whisk me away so I submitted a bug report and never touched the beta again.
Not very, unfortunately. I tend to procrastinate more than I should, so I often turn my strips in to my syndicate roughly two weeks before they run in newspapers. My syndicate would prefer it if I had a lead time of four to six weeks. Because color must be added, my Sunday strips get turned in six or seven weeks in advance.
In fact, human walking gait is often described as continually falling forward, saved only by the swinging foot meeting the ground before you face-plant.
As is most evident when watching babies starting to walk.:)
Certainly an impressive undertaking but somehow it just doesn't sit right. The image depth is what my mind would be questionning.
I mean if you don't actually feel like it's really out there then it may as well just be a nice photograph that you've glued over your windowpanes.
Quebec tends to mainly focus on giving violence and language stricter ratings.
Either their censors don't care so much about sexual content or they just don't watch some of the things they rate, because I've seen brief nudity in G-rated films in Quebec before.
If it's rated 18A in Quebec you can almost be certain that some character in the film is slowly dismembered, that every single word is some variation of a swear word, or that it's practically a prono.

Snagged it at my local video store when they were throwing out old stock.
I'm surprised no one else has responded to you.

I think some congratulations should be in order.

Would you rather lose rights? or riches?

Ok, I decided I was really being too lazy to just leave it at that so I googled. Project Entropia https://www.project-entropia.com/Index.ajp

How far in advance do I draw my strips?

It's been a while...
I used to read HNN at school during lunch time.
The change in direction to it being simply @Stake was already a early sign of its new approach to bring in a more conservative audience.

Even with Scaled Composites minor mishap, they still look to be so far in the lead that a lot of people wouldn't even bother.
Cheers to this new attempt by the Romanian team.
Obviously I've been influenced by years of internet forum dwelling and can not escape the 'pr0n' form of spelling.

I bought it earlier this week... I've suspected that for a while that the magazine place I go to puts things out before they're supposed to.
A hybrid RPG/Action/Adventure version of Once Upon A Time In America.
Not only that, but the "previously mentioned development" on Wired happened 3 days after this story was filed.
