The whole problem is that there *are* no apps. The ability to run android apps was the mitigation strategy, but isn't going too well as noted in TFAs. You're best bet is to sideload android apps. Try http://www.playbookbars.com/ for a whole bunch of unofficially packaged android apps.
The townspeople can only refuse to buy as long as there are alternative sellers for flour. If the asshole starts buying from several sources, over time, he becomes a popular seller and if there isn't competition, the only known seller. All producers will be forced to sell to him, because he's the only access to the market now.
How does free market correct for these parasitic middlemen?
Unlike the leadtek one, the mercury version has the full version of the cell processor, with 8SPEs. Dont think it comes with any prebuilt codecs though.
..is an evolution plugin that connects to Microsoft Exchange server Outlook Web Access through a proxy.
My job requires me to program on Linux, and I also prefer using Linux full time as ITservices here has draconian policies here for Windows users (Everyone is a restricted user and they cannot even change their own wallpaper). On my linux box, I have root access, my own wallpaper and mp3 player. There are so few linux boxen here that ITS let me have root access. They aren't well versed enough, and they don't want the extra hassles.
I don't get to choose what Mail server my employer uses. I can choose my client though. IT services refuses to support POP or SMTP as they have had to deal with Viruses before.I work on a Dual Boot FC6/WinXp box, and am forced to forced to boot into WinXp just to manage my email. Outlook Web Access does not work that great with Firefox, and does not provide for a way to pull email off the server and store them locally. Our web access is through an authenticated Proxy and the evolution plugin cannot deal with that (yet). What do the other folks out there with linux boxen and M$ mail servers deal with this?
I took a driving license test in Andhra Pradesh (a state just north of Tamil Nadu). I was required to take a computer based multiple choice questionnaire that was hosted on a RH box. And that was two years ago.
Bot operators are not stupid, they learn too. Just like they finally broke through Captchas, they will break through any method that becomes sufficiently popular or pervasive. The way to keep them at bay would be to use as many diverse methods as possible. Many readers described their own simple ideas that (they claim) work. They will only work as long as they dont become popular.
"What is the nth word of this sentence" is an idea that seems to catch everybody's fancy here. I'm sure somebody is already working on breaking that in their basement.
" Either that or switch from XP to a better OS platform that has fewer known vulnerabilities (Mac, *nix)."
From TFA:
A few months ago, Taylor became obsessed with tracking a rather unusual botnet consisting of computers running Mac OS X and Linux operating systems. Working a week straight, Taylor located nearly all of the infected machines and had some success..

Not if I have discount cards for every store imaginable. I know people who do.
Getting a computer to solve a mental exercise is often times a greater and more fulfilling mental exercise.
Why is this "robotic" and not just "mechanical" ?
1 usd per liter is 3.785 usd per gallon. How is that cheaper (or cheap) by anyone's standards?

Mercury had a PCI-e cell expansion card for over a year now.

Nine cores not ten. 8 SPEs and just one PPE. The PPE is two-way hardware multi-threaded, but is just one physical core.
.. when it stops running. Otherwise it is a Duck, not a basilisk
Why does saying "I know I will get modded down" get you modded up? Some kind of reverse psychology?
:)
