Google Local is a US and Canada product only.

The local content comes from their own spidering, plus proprietary data from companies like Superpages.com, which IIRC is solicited not spidered

The links on google to superpages are actually capable of charging a superpages.com pay per click customer for the click on google as a part of the partnering process. So its more than just a spidering thing.

Hope that gives you a better understanding

    something to consider.

If this came from a show quality cat there is a good deal of money involved. $50,000 might be a reasonable investment for a cat that can command a $500 - $1000 stud fee per litter. Now multiply that over the life span of the cat.

Even assuming a decreased life span due to cloning problems (that DNA cap thing) this still seems like it could easily pay for itself.

    bravo?

while i can only support my point with anecdotal evidence, i think you are wrong.

the major difference is that the software industry is largely peer reviewed. not policed by some goverment agency (excluding the riaa). the government and fancy lawyers protect us from other large corps such as automotive and pharmacutical companies. should something go awry with the above, all hell and lawyers break loose. should something go awry with software... you lose and all slashdot cries linux.
