I'll have to concur. iManager, RemoteManager, GroupWise Webaccess all are accessible through Firefox on Linux.
We run a (Traditional) Novell NetWare 6.5 shop here. 10 servers, VPN's, Bordermanager, GroupWise. We have a couple more SUSE servers for things like RSYNC, disk imaging, Hylafax server, etc.
"It doesn't matter which version of Windows you run (okay, not necessarily with '95, '98 or something even more ancient) you can install the same.exe file and run it."
I disagree. For example, my company uses pcAnywhere. Version 8 will not run on XP. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/pca.nsf/docid /199877142828 Here is a list from symantec of which versions will run (and in this case NOT run)on different Windows Operating Systems. There are many.
Another one: pfs FirstChoice. Without a lot of tweaking it won't run.
If (When?) Apple comes out with an Intel Mac Mini, I will purchase one to be a Mythfrontend on Linux. Plus I'm going to tweak the dickens out of it (software). I may actually purchase 2, one for Myth, and one running OS X for the wife and kid.
That is funny. You know in college they called Electrical Engineering students, "double e's". I made up my own for "C++" calling it "see double plus" just to mock it. Funny thing was that it caught on in our small group of friends.
Anyone else have trouble implementing new/better/more cost effective solutions because of Politics??? A phrase I've heard repeatedly from upper levels: "We've used 'X' software for 10 years so we are never changing."
They only like what they are used to, even though FF is better.
That is great! It reminds me of those things that bleep out cusswords on T.V. and put up captioning like, "freeze you mother-suckers". Which actually makes it worse because your mind fills in what is supposed be there. This makes it seared into your brain (rather than lightly etched).
They (software engineers) should make imaging software that runs with a browser, and when it detects a skin or flesh tone, it overlays it with Macromedia Flash(tm) clothing on the fly.
HaHaa!
How do we know they weren't midget outcasts and banished to the Island?
Perhaps Madmartigan got fed up with the racism from Willow and the little people towards the Daikini's.
If you want your tunes....Why not just connect the iPod mini-stereo out to the input of the soundcard? I don't see why a corporation would allow you to connect the iPod...Reeegardless
That is the same with XM radio online service. I signed up for a "free trial" and the quality was worse than the devil.

Dell called, and they want their pot smoking actor back.

There are more, but I've proven my point.

Would Project Orange be considered an "Open" movie?
D'oh,
This whole time I thought Grog was the screen name for http://www.lemis.com/grog/ *nix developer, Greg Lehy.

Service Pack? Hardly! It's a complete rewrite at 330MB! Good thing it isn't our File server or Comm server. It is our Terminal Server.
Late.

"I still find OOo's ability to handle complex MS Word docs poor (tables, inline graphics, etc)..."
Let us remember that MS Word is a word processor, NOT a page layout program.
At least this link is working....for now...

Sounds like an excellent idea.
