I'm so sick of hearing things like this. I don't give a crap if it would make him rich or not, as long it keeps more money in the US and out of the Middle Easy. Some people are going to get rich, some people are not. Either way I want the money to stay in MY country.

Making money is not a crime. If I could do something that would vastly benefit people around AND myself, I would go for it.

This is such an ignorant post I shouldn't even reply. University research is DIRECTLY responsible for finding mechanisms in the synthesis of drugs. I'm an undergrad chemistry major and happened to be involved in a synthesizing what could become a breast cancer drug. I'm still a little uneducated when it comes to finding the mechanisms so my professor helps with that. She is also working on another breast cancer drug and an HIV drug.

    I'll cite if you care.

Some sites like http://www.overclockers.com/ just locks the browser up. Firefox people, please fix this! Then I won't have to click on the blue e!

Not quite. Shipping companies have bought up most of them. I worked at UPS on the flight line and I know they still use several 100 & 200 series 747's, though they are slowly being replaced with 500 & 600 series. As for dc-8's, I believe UPS is the only company still flying them. They buy several junk ones to use for parts since parts are so hard to find. Of course they are going to be phased out eventually.
