    I saw an interview with one of the survivors from waco, who was acquitted in a trial by his peers. He said basically what MikeRT said about the walks into town. And I don't think Clinton made the decision to raid the brand dividians that day. It was some local/state ATF person, IIRC.

    I believe you're talking about TX-28 which voted in the primary yesterday (tues)

    It's a district that goes to the Dems, but the Rep. votes with the GOP most of the time. Why not try and get a 'real' Dem in there, rather than a DINO (dem in name only)?

    And the challenger was previously elected as Rep and lost to the current incumbent two years ago.

    I'm not sure if the primary is going to run-off or if the challenger lost (there was a 3rd dem in the race and the incumbent had to get 50% to bypass a run-off).

    this may not be 100% correct.... pipe up if i'm wrong on any of this.

    That's why using zulu or utc or whatever is best.

    Everyone knows what their own personal difference from utc is and therefore i don't have to worry about how far off of PST i am, or wherever you are.

    for two... your friend's brother wasn't the average tape swapper either...

    i do agree that there are people out there mass-copying, but casual copying isn't really what should be targeted.

    IMHO, the reason so many people like google (disclosure:I am one of them) is because their adverts detract the least from the browsing experience.

    Like an ad for a car for sale or something with a mini pic of the car inline, or under ...

    I think many people take the DNE motto out of context.

    IIRC, one thing all employees are told is to: Do No Evil.

    That has morphed into some urban legend that DNE is their motto or sorts.

    To me that's only a directive, and an ideallistic/utopian one at that... at least they didn't study at Yale and join a secret society, or they'd really be doing no evil.

    I believe what you meant to say is that it is illegal to record a phone conversation that you are not a participant in. I have every right to record any phone call that I make or answer. Many cell phones provide an auto record feature for you and you can save the audio after the call has ended.
