  1. Sin-tillating on SiN Episodes - Emergence Review · · Score: 2, Insightful

Despite the comedy breasts and the paper-thin plot, I found the game an excellent waste of not only the 7 hours at least it took me to first complete it, but the equally enjoyable 4/5 hours I took to play it again. Its not rocket science. Its not hugely original. But it is damn good fun! Yes its priced $5 too high but still- if you are looking for something fun I can heartily recommend it. I also very much enjoyed the sound- all the way through the game the sound production is excellent, and there is even a theme tune which plays on the menu screen which is absolutely fantastic! Anyone know who that is by the way?

  2. Re:This is a trash study on Americans Are Seriously Sick · · Score: 1

The NHS is a complete disgrace. If you ever had to use it you might know this. It is almost impossible to get a referral out of any doctor nowadays. It is just as difficult to get a dentist. Should you get sent to hospital, chances are you will be misdiagnosed and there's also a high probability you will catch MRSA.

The situation in the US is partly due to the incredibly unhealthy food there though. Gluttony of the most ridiculous extremes, everything contains masses of sugar and/or chemicals and virtually no nutrients.

(c) do not understand that the record companies do not have the right to demand that we not use what we have payed good money for in any fashion we deem necessary!

  19. ITS CRAP!!!! on New Battlestar Galactica Series Starts Tonight · · Score: 1

Although the pilot was great- the series has progressively been getting worse and worse. The total time on screen of metallic cylons is about 60 seconds for the whole series. It's all 'human' cylons who as it turns out dvelop human feelings so are nigh on human anyway. The series specialises in turning clichés into 1 hour (with ads) episodes. The characters are in the main unlikeable and unrealistic... I enjoyed the original series at the time (but I'll keep my memories- I'm sure if I watched it today it wouldnt be very impressive) but this one is dire. A soap opera in space yes- but this aint no B5... this is more of a Dysentry in space....

  20. V for Violation on V for Vendetta Going to Hollywood · · Score: 1

OK so have they written the 2 bad sequels yet? I cannot see this ever being any good. It is almost certainly going to be relocated to the US and probably set in current day- instead of using the cold war 80s setting. Instead of cheery cockney chaps beating the foreign scum it'll be Smiling beautiful people from LA defending their country against Arab Muslin Terrorimists or something. Is Keanu playing V then? And in what act will we find out who V is? To those who write V for Vendetta off because it is 'a comic'... have you read it? This is one of the best novels I have ever read.

  24. Faulty Disk on Labels Trying New CD Copy Prevention Systems · · Score: 1

As with all compact disks- any which does not conform to the original CD standard is faulty. If I cannot make backups of the CD and make mp3 files to play on my MP3 player then sorry but the disk is faulty- I return it to the shop and I am forced to download a poor quality mp3 from the intraweb... I have many cds which have disintegrated- peeled etc. I now insist on making backups as there is an inherent design fault in the product. Also, I don't see why I should have to pay one price for a CD to play on my stereo and then have to fork out more money for a lesser quality audio file which is in effect merely rented to me. This business model is completely consumer-unfriendly- and until the music industry starts putting consumers first I will be forced to look elsewhere.
