    I hope not. I still don't own a mobile phone like Richard Stallman. If it is enforced, will we get a cellphone for free? Was landline phone service ever required for Americans from the laws?

    Ditto. I have disabilities so mobilities, verbal communications, etc. are big issues. Thanks to computers, phone lines (bulletin board system (BBSes), and then the internet, many things changed for me. I socialize a lot more decades ago. People call me an annoying Internet addict. Would they rather see me in my old ways then? :P

    Like TiVo? I wonder if making your own HTPCs with cable cards would better. I think you lose features like ondemand though. :(

    But if that huge antenna is on the roof or somewhere hard to access, then that would be annoying. I put mine in the upstair closet and once in a while I have to rotate it a little. It gets annoying. :(

    Thanks to FCC allowing QAM go away, cable companies are forcing people to get cable boxes, cards, etc. to get digital TV services. :(

    For me, I don't like implants especially when something can go wrong. At least external stuff like glasses, hearing aids, etc. can be removed easily.

    My parents used to use them, but had to go to Verizon because T-Mobile, Sprint, etc. doesn't work in the rural mountain areas. :(
