Bah, I'd take fiber over copper for Internet connections. But then who would provide Internet for me?
Hello Verizon FIOS that took over GTE? I am sick of your crappy phone systems on copper. Terrible connections with dial-up (lots of line noises and never go to faster than 26400-31200 speeds even on 56k modems), no DSL due to distances over 20K ft. from COs, etc. Frak your expensive limited wireless services.:(
I am still wearing one (DB 150 model) these days since my high school days (early (19)90s), and people are still blown away like my old schoolness (19.5" Sharp CRT TV from 1996, VCR [interfacing with my desktop PC, DVR, TV, analog speakers, clicky keyboards like Model M, hates typing on touch screen keyboards, etc.] from my dotcom days, analog bone conduction hearing aid (refuse to get implants for digital), etc. I don't even own a mobile phone since I rarely talk and go out due to my disabilities.
Casio doesn't even sell DB models anymore and they are impossible to find them these days ($159.99 on Amazon!). I also haven't found any good replacements. Smart watches require mobile phones which I don't want. I want something tiny, light, and useful on my thin wrists since I can't hold things in mid air easily.:(
I was a teen(ager) back then! I got it from a local BBS, but couldnâ(TM)t play it. My next door neighbor could on his 386 DX machine, but he had to study for finals so he only played a few levels. Haha. Years later, I made two DOOM 2 mod(ification)s: http://zimage.com/~ant/antfarm/files/doom2/j2doom/j2doom.html ⦠I think I played DOOM at 9600 speeds with my next door neighbor (we both had 14.4k modems!:().
Does anyone remember what time DOOM 1 shareware was released to the public? I couldn't find that answer.
Where are these non-DRM digital downloads to buy? I only know the illegal sources. I also avoid DRM stuff when I can.
AC gets slimed like #1 and #2
Ditto except I can't get DSL because COs are over 20K ft. :(
To find employments?
Yes. :( Hopefully, China's and future moon landings will prove them wrong!
Good luck. We are all crazy psychopaths! :(
So many loudness and annoying sounds, etc. Ugh(l(ee/y).

It's not just banking web sites too. Disqus and many others. :(
Those private ones can still be logged by the providers unless you and remote encrypt and decrypt off their connections and servers. :(
"The cake is a lie."
Where? :P
Too bad satellite can't compete in broadband Internet services like cable. :(
Ditto even though I don't own a TiVo and Netflix. I just record onto my DTV Pal DVR and computers, and watch later (skip the nonsense parts).
My 19.5" Sharp CRT, from January 1996, still hasn't died as of last night! :O
I don't even watch commercials. I avoid them when I can like recording and be able to skip/FF.
Just have the people, who wants the delivery services to their homes, pay.
Me too. People call me dorks all the time even when I am an old fart. :P

Nice. Lots of commercialism in there like Symantec. ;)
FYI, it's = it is/has. You're welcome. ;)
Actually, you do have a Facebook account since I am your account with your password. [grin]
It is/has? :P
It's not worth it to me since it gets too hot during the heat waves (up to 90F degrees in my upstair tiny room).
