During that day, I just woke up (IIRC, 8/9 AM PDT since I was unemployed from the dotcom bust) and came to my Windows computer with Internet. I saw my friends chatting in an IRC room something about a plane crash. I thought it was an accident, then I noticed terrorism, WTC, etc. Then, my "queen ant" told me about it briefly in person. I decided to turn on my 20" CRT TV (still have it today and it was from 1996!) and saw all the local news stations (rabbit ears) on this. I saw the replays of an airplane crashing to a tower.:( Such a bad day for everyone.
Xsleepingxgiantx's Reddit comment mentioned a dark/heavy documentary titled "102 Minutes That Changed America". Top Documentary Films have the almost two hours YouTube video. It has pure raw footages from various people. It is very difficult to watch (couldn't watch the whole thing and your overlord couldn't sleep well after watching most of the first half).:~(
My parents say our monthly electricity bills are going up especially with my desktop computers with fancy stuff for computer games, upgrades, and other stuff.:( Yes, I can get laptops/notebooks but I rarely go out and travel, and I want power (gaming, HTPC, etc.) and cheap prices.
My Oticon 380P bone conduction hearing aids costed about $1K and the funny thing is that it is the latest analog model that came out in 1994. Oticon stopped researching and making better ones because they went digital. If I want digital models, then I would have to surgeries due to implants. Frak that. I prefer things to be external, so I can take it off to enjoy being mostly quietness and avoid technical internal problems. Also, being able to cut down loud audio like in loud theaters, concerts, games, parties, fire alarms, etc.!
FYI for its details and results if anyone is interested on my super long startup:
I used MS' old Bootvis v1.3.37.0 (is that the latest?). I am still confused what is pausing the long disk access and wait. I also notice this long disk access at XP's login screen before logging in so it is not the startup programs. If I am reading this analysis correctly, there are unknown drivers too. I also noticed if I wait a minute or more before logging in, then my desktop starts up fast. It's like prebuffering (prefetching?) or something?
http://i.imgur.com/EEWXh.gif for the screen shot (had to hide Boot and Resume Activities since they showed nothing).
Same here. I was on Fb for about three weeks and they kicked me off too. I refuse to my real datas. I had no problems on Friendster, MySpace, etc. http://aqfl.net/node/7159 for the details. They also want proof for me to get my access back. Frak you, G+, and others.:(
Shouldn't MS be releasing a hot fix to remove these bad certificates in XP SP3's IE versions with a hot fix or something? I had two of them in mine. I didn't check Windows 2000 SP4 machines. I assume they have them.
I am waiting for Netflix to go non-subscription based since I rarely watch movies and old television/TV series. I love Redbox for being cheap and paying when I want to!
I have been a/. addict since 1998 (can't remember and find the answer in my account profile with 79039 number) in my college days./. isn't the same today as the old days though. I also went to other sites like Digg (v4 still sucks:P) and Reddit (blame Digg v4). I still come to/. daily though.
It will never end. :(

On a bright side, there was one survivor from Ground Zero but it was an office plant: http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/09/10/new.york.911.plant/index.html ...
How is the movie bad? It was great.

Thank you in advance. :)
How about for XP SP3? Bootvis didn't give me much.
Do 3 TB exist and are reliable?
WAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When is the next big war like WWIII? :P
Connecting to people without chat, e-mails, etc. It's a new media. I noticed a lot of people refuse to use the old media beside Facebook. :(

It reminds me of commercials with women waiting for Ross(?) stores' doors to open many years ago. Heh. :)
Ah. I wonder why they didn't release an emergency hotfix like Mozilla and others. :(
Also, clear cookies or use another computer/web browser that don't use Facebook.
Is that with default port 22? Mine doesn't get hundred hits, but then it is on a private connection.

And English since you misspelled Business. ;)
That is why I still prefer internal disc drives especially when it comes to burning discs.
Too slow and USB3 are expensive at this time.

Now, we have a good reason to keep this animal species alive!
