Um, MS still supplies security updates for W2K and its IE6. The hard part is some recent, latest, and upcoming softwares don't work in it.:( But for old stuff, it rocks (still use it for that case).
I am not planning to go to Vista or 7 any time soon. Maybe in a few years when MS and other companies drop support it. I am still happy and fine with my old XP Pro. SP3 (IE6).
Ah, does it work the same way when using dual/clone setup? And if I want to watch video fullscreen on my old TV and still can use my PC? My issue was NVIDIA dropping the FEATURE/OPTION from its latest drivers and video cards. Even Vista pulled it.:(
Huh? I wasn't referring to streaming videos. I was referring to local video files (FLV, AVI, MPG2, MPG, MOV, etc.), discs, and media center stuff going fullscreen to TV and still using my computer.
What bothers me is that NVIDIA yanked its TV output from its latest drivers and cards. One can't do fullscreen TV overlay anymore. I had to switch to ATI Radeon 4870 so I could watch videos fullscreen on my 20" 1996 CRT TV.:(
It is a Dell Dimension 8250 with 512 MB of RAM and an IDE HDD. 32-bit Windows 7 UE RTM got stuck at shutdown when I tried to reboot. I haven't had time to analyze what was cauisng it.:(
"Maybe it's like an ant hive..." "Bees man, bees have hives." "You know what I mean. It's like one female that runs the whole show." "Yes, the queen." "Yeah the mamma. She is bad*ss, man. I mean big." "These things ain't ants estupido." "I know that."

What's wrong with IE6? Do you use it? I rarely use it except for Windows/MS Update and Web sites that don't work with Mozilla's Web browsers. :(

Yep, I still use Office 2000 with their converters (not for 9x though). It works fine.
I made a poll to ask my visitors if Americans should go back to the moon, Mars, somewhere else, or don't go at all. I had mixxed results so far.

I think this release is bad or something is wrong with my Debian.
I downloaded
