Seriously, why do people fear change so much? The new Office document format is much better than any previous formats in my opinion. It's better than the old formats. Sure, it takes a while to get used to but it is worth it. [grin]:P
I had IBM DOS 4.00 on my IBM PS/2 30 286 machine. Man, that was an awful DOS version. I remember unable to get enough free conventional memory for games and stuff. Ugh.
Or do it weeks/months before. My folks and I finish ours months in advance. We're not proscrinators. We do this just in case there are problems and have enough time to fix.
Is that with everything enabled like graphics, audio, etc. And good FPS? The last time I tried this with Transgaming with Diablo 2, I couldn't get good FPS, I didn't have EAX/3D sound enhancements, installation was complex, etc. This was back when Red Hat Linux (I think I had 7.1 or 7.2) was still around.
I noticed Maxtor InTouch external HDD, from a few years ago, had heat problems if using them for hours. The cooling and vents are inefficient. The case get very hot too. Are the newer ones better at staying cool?

My dentist office still uses DOS/text mode on a PC (no idea what's the setup -- maybe a 386?).
That sucks. :( I haven't owned a gaming console since Atari 2600. I prefer computer games due to mod support and stuff.
Will there be a PC/Windows port for CoD4? How come CoD3 didn't have one? I loved the first two CoD games. :(

Thanks Chris! That was the one. :)
Looks like the server was /.'ed. Mirrors: MirrorDot and Network Mirror.
How is this story related to IT? "IT: The Germs' Drummer Arrested For Carrying Soap" ... Did I miss something?
There was a previous story with a poll. I forgot which story it was. Does anyone remember it?
That's for XP, not 98. :)
And I don't need your response like you said. :P

What is an add? Or is that a typo of ad?
It is also video clips from TV shows, movies, etc. that get taken down. :(
You didn't need the # for anchor. :) Yeah, I am picky but what did you expect from a stubborn nerd/geek? :D
Did Spring Break just end for this place? I wonder if the shooter got grumpy over something during the time off.
Don't forget your ears. Plug them to ignore the audio too. ;)
Yeah, 10% FPS can be big especially if you only get 20-30 FPS already in Windows with a medium-end system (I never get a high-end system).

... and I am a worker ant that is classified females. [grin]
Speaking of old demos and computers, check out Desert Dream on a Commodore 64. Amazing port.
Maybe Richard Simmons? Don't know why he would want it.
Does anyone have the sign form copy that was sent to YouTube from this teenager?
Is that you, Donald Trump?
