So, it's a lot better than two years ago? I remember hassling with the ATI drivers and setups with ATI Radeon 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder card and Red Hat Linux 7.1(?).
Cool video: A 15 minutes YouTube video showing off the Amiga 500, also known as the A500. It was the first "low-end" Commodore Amiga 16/32-bit multimedia home/personal computer. It was announced at the winter Consumer Electronics Show in January 1987, at the same time as the high-end A2000, and competed directly against the Atari 520ST.
Does anyone remember that old Apple commercial with the 1 second glipse of an Ant Farm on a kid's desk? Does anyone know where that can be found online? I had no luck with various Apple video ads. sites, YouTube, etc. I think the ad was about education with Apple II GS computer.
I am not. I probably will wait a year if I want one or I won't get one. I haven't owned a gaming console since Atari 2600. I did borrow a Turbo Graphx 16 for a week though.
GoScreen is the best virtual desktop manager that my friends and I found and use. It is not free after 30(?) days, but it is cheap and worth it. It still supports old Windows 95 to the newest (XP). Very low resources. We use it at home and work.
TeknoHog: My friends and I use GoScreen (not free though) in Windows. It's great. We are way more productive with this virtual desktop manager, even in Windows.
I wonder which one would be more productive for others. A small monitor/screen with a virtual desktop manager (assuming user knows how to use it) vs. a big screen without a virtual desktop manager.
I seem to be more productive with a virtual desktop manager on a small screen than a bigger monitor. Having a big screen AND a virtual desktop manager doubles that.;)
"home country instead of detecting it via the user's IP address." -- This isn't always accurate. What if user is behind a proxy, at school, at work, using someone else's Internet connection (e.g., wifi), etc.?
With cubicles, what do you guys think of the low walls? Where I work now, we have low walls. They're so low, that I can see everything while standing up since I am only about 5'.
See UserFriendly's comic strip from Monday, 10/16/2006. :)
Heh, the video clip looked like worker ants trying to work together to move the object.
"Spyware: It's In the Game." from a Digg comment.
I will try again if I ever use my AIW card. Can I use the AIW's TV tuner too?

Thank you in advance.
NVIDIA is still superior in Linux over ATI in terms of drivers.
Yep, how long have you been using it? I think I got it when Windows 98 was around.

Eww, that's no fun. I can't live without a VDM on any computers with GUI. :) I even have one for Mac OS X.
Seamonkey (newer) and Mozilla (older) are suites, not a stand alone Web browser like Firefox.

Also if Windows XP SP1 has WGA in system tray running, Then, there would be a pop-up notification about SP1 expiration.
Was this YouTube video of Far Cry game?

I always enjoyed looking at old game arts on covers. Some of them are weird and cheesy, but some of them are really cool.
Actually, we're both wrong. It's Fozzie.
Which one is the proper spelling for Fuzzi Bear and Pac-Man?
I wished I had a basement. I am upstair so that's even worse. :(
At my former dotcom employer, we had a basement. It was nice!

Wow, where is this? I thought my room was bad enough (can go up to 90F degrees in heat waves).
Yep, like Darwinia. Just wait. I would like a demo early too, but I doubt that will happen.
