I just want the title of the program with version numbers, date, time, and links.:)
They said I was about 20K feet away from the CO. I live close to a high-tech area (City of Industry in Southern CA). I don't know if my area has too many hybrid copper/fiber lines for me not to get ADSL.
I wonder if I really have a long distance problem or this hybrid/fiber problem. None of my friends in the same city (different locations) can get DSL either.
What do you think? I look forward to receiving replies soon.:)
Okay, a lot of people note that Pearl Harbor is NOT historically accurate. What movies are historically accurate? I heard Tora (good classic war movie) is pretty accurate. Any others?
I asked about this on Matrox's and MURC's forums if Tribes 2 (T2) would run nicely even at the lowest details, etc. The answer is no, even on my Pentium III 600 Mhz with 256 MB and Windows 98.
I have friends who had Voodoo3 cards, and the game was too choppy for them. They all got GeForce 2 cards, and no problems.
So you will need to upgrade the video card (bottle neck) in order to play T2. I will eventually upgrade my video card soon.
It uses Blink for video, so you will need Windows to watch it! The CEO shows the game to us. I thought it was nicely done. He explains what the game will be like, did a few gameplays, etc. I would like to see more game companies do this. A little demo...
Note: The screen size is very SMALL, but it is still worth viewing.:)

A friend told me about this Web browser. Galeon looks nice too. It is based on Mozilla and faster. I played with it on my Pentium 2 300 Mhz (128 MB; RH Linux v7.1). It does seem faster than Mozilla without all the bells and whistles. And also saves CPU, RAM, and other resources unlike Mozilla and Netscape.
I look forward to receiving replies.

I had to look this one up. According to Everything, RSS is an acronym for Rich Site Summary, an XML format for distributing news headlines on the Web, also known as syndication.
Not only that, it tests to see if your system can handle the high computer usage. If it causes errors, then it could be either bad memory or your CPU is too hot. I had to go through with my Intel Pentium III 600 Mhz upgrade. That is how I found out it was a heat problem. RAM was fine.:)
...since former DSL subscribers will probably end up getting cable modem. If that was the case, then our cable modem service will get even slower! What do you think? I use @Home (the only option for high speed Internet connection at a decent price).

My modem dial-up that connects at 26400s and 28800s. I heard this is caused by fiber lines? Is this true?

But can we play any Quake games, especially multiplayer, with this PDA? :)

AFAIK... I remember seeing petitions for C&C: Red Alert (original) games. I doubt we would see it for Emperor: Battle for Dune. :(

Try this w3.org's Web page.
Who knows. Ask the FOX people who made up that title [grin].

Here is a list of all the TV shows that will be cancelled or ending (i.e. The Lone Gunmen is included).
Yahoo's article has the title spelling wrong.

Are there components on the card that are really costly to bring the price up?
Hmm, I have been using all the post fixes for IE5.01 since M$ products always have bugs.
I was wondering why I couldn't install the security fix for Windows 95 laptop with Internet Explorer v5.01.
:(
Is there a way to force the install without upgrading to v5.5? Microsoft needs to fix this!
