I am still with a Matrox G400 and it is a little slow, but I don't run a high resolution (1024x768 for games) because of my 17" monitor. Sometimes, I run 16-bit colors mode to get decent FPS. Sure, I see pixels, but how often do I pay attention to these details when fragging?:)
My next video card will probably be a GeForce 3 when the price is decent. I am NOT going to pay 600 bucks for it! I am sick of upgrading my video card once a year! I don't mind doing it every other year like processors. I have had a Diamond Stealth 64 3000, Diamond Monster 3D 1 (Voodoo 1), Creative Labs 3D Blaster (Voodoo 2), and then a Matrox G400 (non-MAX).
Please SLOW DOWN the video card technology! Not everyone can keep up.:( Thanks.
[begin rant] I like realistic characters like in the original Wolfenstein 3D, Spear of Destiny, and the 2D versions. The game doesn't feel like Wolfenstein without those infamous Nazi soldiers, commanders, etc. Do we really needs mutants, zombies, robots, monsters, etc.? To think about that, I think this game will have strange weapons as well.:(

Since I have a lousy 26400-28800 modem and unable to get high-speed broadband, I am forced to use the Web without graphics (95% of the times). I only want INFORMATION. I don't need pictures. I will decide if I want images or not!
I also heard the same on various newsgroups. WinDVD is supposedly superior to PowerDVD in terms of picture and sound qualities.

Do these support text-based only? I SSH/telnet to Linux servers to use Napster (downloading with Windows Napster on a 26400 modem connection is not fun!). I don't have my own Linux box yet. Thanks!

That game is wonderful! I usually donn't like this type of game, but dangit! I was hooked! I was a bit sad that the company had to go.
I am using 56K modems. The problem is the phone lines and phone company (GTE/Verizon). The SLC/DLC is the problem :(.

I use Linux Napster (Home Page). It only seems to connect to Napster's official servers. How do I switch to an OpenNap like Napigator in Windozes?
