1. We are just physical beings who become worm food and have no afterlife. Therefore the only rewards we can receive are those that are given during our life, and in society those rewards are only given for good (or even mediocre) behaviour.
2. We can act how we want and cause whatever problems we wish as long as we wholeheartedly believe that Christ is the only living God, begotten by the Virgin Mary....... And then we get to spend a perfect blissful eternity with God in a flawless environment beyond our wildest imagination.
It was an example of how poor the software (could) be. I'm not really judging the software, but most implementations I've seen give way-off responses like that.
That reminds me of something that happened to me a few years ago.
I was kidnapped by this guy, and locked in his basement. I was reminded of this time that I was writing commercial software and couldn't link against a GPL'd library. If only there were some LGPL interface to kidnapping. ?
Though when you think about it, I think it'd be WORSE to not have indications that you are among such. Better to have the detector than not!;)
That doesn't seem quite right. Poison Ivy is an Allergic Reaction which means if you don't react to it, it's not hurting you. You cant be a "Poison Ivy Carrier" and spread it to your loved ones or cute puppies. (All bets are off if ferrets are involved though...)
...besides, if you're going to be helpful at least name some pencils you personally found to be helpful for writing and paper that doesn't smell or smear or get lost.
I'd like to think you're joking. I am, however, painfully aware that you are not.
There is a difference between moving MSWormyMcWorm.a.1 from someone's computer by reading Symantec or Norton's howto and managing and sysadmining a mission critical DB, web, mail, or other server.
While I find certifications to be as annoying as the next guy, I can't agree that you're experience in formatting a hard drive is equivalent to the information contained in certification tests.
There is a significant amount of GPL'd artwork out there. Any icons, etc, used in programs would work well. Check out/usr/share/pixmaps from any all-free distribution of Linux.
... digital bytes never get old or need to be routinely checked by some paid worker
Well, while I agree that Microsoft should bundle anti-virus/spam/spyware/any-bad-thin with their OS, I don't think that this statement is right. I'm sure that the people who work for Symantec and MacAffee would be very unhappy to hear that they are not paid workers. Both of these companies, and presumably MSFT if they were to bundle anti-whatever software, must be constantly updated to detect the changes in viruses and what-have-you.
No, even better, remember the Olympics game for NES?
Imagine 78 (or maybe 154 if playing 2player) people stomping on those damn pads all at the same time.
ubductions? seriously?
So we have two systems of belief here:
Which one is more likely to cause problems again?

I ran their software on the mental image after reading your comment:

Would I listen to some random guy walking down street for warnings?
If some 'random guy' told you that there was an angry man with a gun ahead I think you'd listen.
It seems like you've spent a little too much time in some super-liberal undergrad journalism ethics class.
... So let me get this straight. You're telling me you wouldn't vote for Natalie Portman if she were running for president?
I though so....
dammit, *correction* that's an invalid lvalue...
or you could have used a == to make that evaluate to true..... either way...
c-nazi
that an invalid rvalue in that statement there....
just saying....
This tool has nothing to do with perspective
It adds the existential king Kowalski (Played by Barry Newman) to every image you create.
For those of you who are confused, check imdb for vanishing point

Is that because of the GNOME HIG?
Something about program's names in menus reflecting their purpose and not some arbitrary name?
I imagine it would be much the same, and probably equally annoying.
Probably less so though. No bad techno music.
