Just so you know, US MREs come with a flameless heater. The heater you describe in French MREs sounds like it has to be lit, which is very bad in a combat environment.
The US heaters are a pouch about the size of the entree pouch, but with less volume. A small amount of water initiates an exothermic reaction that gives off Hydrogen Gas as a byproduct.

By inserting the open end of the heater pouch into a properly-sized carton (the entree pouch comes in one), the gas has no escape, and voila! Heater bomb. Fun stuff.

Anyway, I am a long-time user of Yahoo! webmail, and am quite satisfied. The interface isn't great, but usable enough for me. It was a little prettier with javascript, but no functionality has been lost for disallowing it. No spam whatsoever, so apparently they don't sell your name off like hotmail does. You emphasize the well regulated militia part, and this puts you in agreement with the US Supreme court(don't ask me to look up which opinion). However, viewed with regard to the Declaration of Independence, the 2nd amendment is not for the purposes of a state militia, it is to ensure that the people always have their "armed revolt" option open. It is essentially a threat of violence against the rulers, should they become oppressive (cough DEA cough Carnivore cough Echelon cough).

It would be wise to remember that Britain was not a "foreign invader", it was our own government.

The US was founded by radical, violent militiamen of the sort we marginalize today.

Some of my jam buddies like pot alot, one of them enough to be considered a pothead. They can play pretty well while high. They also say they don't play as well, but I haven't noticed.
I simply suck at playing music of any kind while high, buthave observed an interesting effect. The night after getting high (especially if it was a jam night), jazz improvisation comes easily, and is of a more coherent, flowing nature.
This is just one person's experience, hardly a decent sample size, but it seems that marijuana can indeed have a positive effect on the mind.

So these flashbacks are mostly visual? Perhaps they might not be caused by the LSD use at all. I have never done any true hallucinogen, yet visual artifacts are quite common for me, and I would expect that everyone gets them. They are usually just an "under the radar" thing, mentally. It might be that the user now associates the mind-generated visuals with the LSD experience, and is more likely to notice the otherwise-ignored noise. I don't allow js very often, so it is an annoyance rather than a crippling bug. I would report more problems, but the 0.8 archive was right there and oh so convenient...

    Bugs reported by other people:

    • href to a .mid borked, much like href to .jar
    • constantly asking to be updated (supposedly fixed)
    • CPU consumption/hang on certain badly written pages, lasting as long as the page is open
    • Not a bug, just my opinion, but each release gets successively uglier.
