There are few things more addictive and difficult to argue with than religion, because you're not talking about sense or reality or science or rational thought.
You can apply that to some ateists as well. Moust of them belives evolution is proved and the missing link is found.

You can't scientifically argue with people who only can respond with "well, there must be a creator, because I feel it in my bones"
My faith is based on data. One part of it (the Bible), as you can find it in King James, can you have a copy of. Perhaps also a list of events to come so you can be convinced when they happend. But my observations I can't share with you, since you will not belive what I have experienced.

or people who can't possibly conceive that evolution doesn't in any way rule out there still being a creator. I don't care if evolution don't rule out a creator, because it rules out The Creator.

Why support Microsofts non-free (as in free speach) tools in Eclipse? What I think is a problem here is that it depends on non-free software, it won't be portable to other platforms (like Linux) and it will give Microsoft a free tool to lock people into Windows (that even is given away for free).

Well, since I guess we disagree on philosophy: From a practical point of view, won't it be better to support something cross platform, like GNU's stuff (gcc, gdb...) and a cross platform toolkit (Gtk, Qt...)?

My first step when I argue with people beliving in evolution because it is thaught as 100% truth in public schools here in Norway). Perhaps it was my bad english, or your prejudgment of people not beliving in evolution, but what I meant by "evidence" was something that makes evolution more likely. (but if I can not use the world evidence that way in English, I apologise)

while we are at it, show me how the hypotece of (macro)evolution can be falsyfied. (Or is it not a scientific teory after all, but a faith?)

first: sorry about my english, it's not my native language.
Then to the profs of God: there are many. Since I don't know your religion/philosofi/way of thinking, I will try my favorite: The Bible.
It is full of profecis, some that occurs while we speak. The resurection of Israel is a good example: "And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:" Ezekiel 37:21
When I was in Israel, I saw Ezekiel 36,34 with my own eyes: "And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited."

Stuff that have not hapend yet, but it seems like it might happend soon
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation of John 13:16-17 And as a slashdotter, I guess you have heard this profecy, and know in what direction the development point (I'm not claiming it has happend, but stay awake when it does, that mark is a onewayticket to hell)
"It was also given to him (Aticrist) to make war with the saints (the real christians) and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe and people and tongue and nation was given to him." Rev 13,7 One World Goverment, well look at the direction the world moves. Almost unthinkable in a world with slow means of transportation

I hope you will accept at least the first evidence (Israel), but if you are looking for different kind evidence, just ask...
