    There's no reason a deity could not create the tools/laws/conditions that cause life/evolution/etc to occur. Thus ID and scientific theories such as Evolution do not inherently conflict.

    Python, SDL, GTK+, OpenJDK etc - you just have to be able to run it on a system without requiring non-free software to be present.

    Here's a good indicator: if you can also run it on a standard debian install, you are probably meeting the requirement.

    No surprise there, the only reason you would want to squish directory listing is if you had "public" documents alongside "private" or other things you wouldn't want people to see. If all you have is a public listing of documents, leaving indexing turned on is a good thing.

    I'm sure there is some influence on the injuries as well - a right handed soldier is going to hold his rifle a certain way, and they are going to be facing more or less the same area - meaning that they would all share a common side facing incoming fire / shrapnel etc.

    Holding a rifle or such will tend to have the helmet tilted over the rifle, shielding that side of the brain a bit more than the left, which would be more exposed.

    You can filter out frequencies by coiling a cable correctly, which is what makes me think that's the cause of your grief - you discovered this property accidentally.

    I'm lucky enough to have TWO Fry's within an hour of me.

    The rest of my family needs to drive 8-10 hours to get to my area, if they care to shop at one.

    Wake me up when Fry's has nationwide presence.
