    I wonder how strongly the fetus' position is dependent on gravity... in a lesser/near-zero gravity environment you might have a much higher percentage of breech births or other positional problems.

    It will be. It's been stated in several places, including in ME2 itself (there's a tip somewhere mentioning that your choices will have a direct impact in your ME3 game)

    eSATA cables can run up to 6.6ft (2m). While it won't reach all the way, it can reach to a more convenient location.

    FLAC here, unless it's already lossy (in which case I will avoid transcoding it at all if I can).

    The quality vs space difference is acceptable for me, since my collection is relatively small but my desired quality is higher.

    A semi-automatic hunting rifle helps ensure you put your quarry down humanely.

    The difference between working the bolt manually and letting the gas discharge do it for you, means you have time for a second chance at that lung shot you just screwed up.

    I've seen that reported, though not seen it myself, most likely it's your configuration settings. Try running nvidia settings and having it generate a xorg.conf for you.

    Same problem here, whether I use no config (autodetect), use/modify an Xorg generated config, or use/modify an nvidia-settings generated config. I've climbed that mountain and gave up trying.

    It's either something with Fedora itself, or GNOME. I have the same Fedora version with my 460 GTX, and have the same problem. I did not have any issues with KDE 4 on Slackware 13.1.

    I'm having the same problems on my desktop. Quad 3.0ghz, 4gb RAM, and an NV 460 GTX. I don't think it's the hardware, as it worked fine on slackware before I got stupid and stuck Fedora on it :)

    It wouldn't effect the world at large. The lake would be forever changed however.

    Do note that they are not opening it to the air. They are going to poke it, let the pressure differential push some of the lakewater out the bore a ways and plug it.... which will cause the released water to freeze and plug the lake. Later, they can drill back down and take a hunk of the frozen water without re-opening the lake itself, and do their sciency stuff with that.
