  1. Re:Brains on Rats Breathe Air From Lungs Grown In the Lab · · Score: 1

No. It's not possible to transplant the brain. Well, it is technically... the problem comes when you try to rewire the brainstem to the spine. Also, the chemical messages to/from the body probably won't match up and that alone would cause problems.

So the problem remains that the general public doesn't get it. The general public won't get anything with more depth than the Simpsons, unfortunately.

    No, that's not London, UK.

(am I the only one who hates it when towns "steal" names from major cities? Example: Moscow, Maine. WTF?)

Seismic waves don't travel along the surface. Ok, so the short-range ones do.

Just like echos in water, they bounce around and form "pockets" or whatever they are called where the effect is intensified by constructive interference.

It's entirely possible to have a stretch between you and the epicenter who feels nothing, yet you get your teeth rattled.

Some good stuff. On Labyrinth, I like Conquistador I and II, and Mona Lisa Overdrive.

You'd recognize that last one from the second Matrix movie. It was the soundtrack for the highway chase (though the chanting was removed for the movie, the real version is better IMO).

Pistolero (a single) is also nice. Think Spanish Guitar + breakbeats heh.

Please tell me where I can listen to Juno Reactor's Labyrinth on the radio.

Or, right. Only popular swill gets played (over and over and over and over) on the radio.

If everyone continues to appease and build for IE, IE will never shape up or go away.

You also know they (MS) won't just decide to give up. Someone has to make the move, and the ball is in our (everyone except MS) court.

No, if I were to develop something, I wouldn't /care/ about people who insist on using IE. I simply don't. If they want to go suffer elsewhere, that's fine. I refuse to actively support IE in any way.

This is because I do these things for pleasure, for "fun."

My job doesn't require me to do these kinds of things, so I have no obligations to please the stupid public.
