I thought the same thing about target shooting, until I did it. The nice thing there, was I didn't need to/already/ be in shape to get the enjoyment out of it.... now, watching the sports? That I don't get.
Hash a large file. Time is spent. Cryptographically sign a file, more time is spent.
Instead, you sign the hash, and spend -less- time computing the signature. If the signature is true, then the hash is true, and by extension the large file is true.
It's faster to verify a blob of MD5-sums than your 200MB+ application. The blob can still verify the 200MB+ on it's own without bothering with the heavy-crypto. Save the expensive calculation for where it's really needed.
The music is something else too. Deionarra's theme still brings a tear to my eye. It takes a special beauty of music to do that.
lol, I never managed to push myself past level 50. I always got stuck trying to beat heroic Yawnmeister.
Planescape Torment wipes it's ass with Baldur's Gate.
Sure, Baldur's Gates were great games, but Planescape's story seemed quite deep.
... words cannot describe how much thanks I send your way...
Okidata has some nice heavy-duty color laserjets...

Of course, the people without proper depth perception will bitch and whine about it. After all, if they can't enjoy/utilize it, nobody should.
(This is the same crap you see regarding 3D movies)
I'd prefer if MS pulled their nasty fingers out of gaming completely.
You might smell him though. Old-man smell. Yuck.
... or that you are just a jackass.
Given your account name, I lean towards jackass.
Oh, and you just got a temporary ban for abusing the system.
She-BANG!
I'd mod you up if I hadn't already posted. This is an interesting revelation.
Both. The terms are not exclusive.
What does that have to do with your parent?
Oh that's right. Nothing.
I KNOW.
Please read what I wrote.

Even so, often the more efficient way is to sign the hash.
If nobody cares enough to verify the hash, what makes you think they will verify the signature?
It's there for a reason.
If a server is compromised, the "normal" ports cannot be set up as listeners without also escalating your breakin.
--prefix=/opt/ircd is such an unusual approach? (assuming your user can write there, put it wherever else, even under ~/)
That is a really -bad- headline.
Removing two whole words would fix it too (words that aren't really required in the headline)
Doctors Reverse Autism-Linked Fragile X Syndrome In Mice
Really now... how they did it doesn't need to be in the headline.
One exabyte per day? Holy shit, that's a -lot- of data!
What's this "Kinsey books" ? More information is requested :)
Well, to reply to myself after some though...
I should mention the people I associate with brighter than average. I don't socialize with idiots, and I'm lucky to have an intelligent family.
