FL Studio has no comparison on Linux. LADSPA and all those other things you run under Jack work fine, if you understand it all and want to do all the hard work yourself. I, would rather just plug in a "Sawer" synth and go.
It's easier to do all that checking and analysis on small-batch runs like what you did. When it comes to pumping out huge numbers of the same thing... you start checking a smaller and smaller percentage of the output.
Well, I was speaking more of the restriction on crypto export as a whole - and why this would be an exception. I was just discounting the whole Free Speech argument for the sake of a less Utopian reasoning. It is the Government, after all:)
1. That's a pretty strong statement to make without any backing. 2. You assume by "us" I meant the USA. I did, but my statement was neutral. I could have just as easily been speaking from Australia's perspective.
Then blame your particular cable company. Not everyone is doing that bullshit.
especially when one considers the additional, needless RAM overhead this requires.
Can you clarify this? This is news to me, at least.

Just to back you up further, as if you had need of it :)

Stop filtering spam at all. For a whole week.
Let the spammers break the system.
Blow off steam nuking folks online to be civil IRL.
Lots of us already do that... no need to make it planned.
That said, I do it in ArmA2, which is a lot closer to warfare than that shit like Halo.
No, I think we are called dicks now. Dick - DIgital joCK.
As well, a base component of basic training is to train those responses down/out, so that you can perform your roll as a soldier properly.
Real gamers use a gauntlet that looks like the offspring of an arc welder and table saw.
Ah, then the true morons are the marketers who haven't gotten rid of the stigma associated with the Celeron brand.
I imagine lots of modern post-processing effects (such as Depth of Field) wouldn't play very nicely with stereoscopic display.
Yea, and does anyone who knows what they are doing even consider using a Celeron?
Not that I've met.
Ant core samples? Just how large are these ants?
I would rather the police respect our rights, instead of trying to quash anything that looks to be outside the status quo.
Only when it drives by me, apparently.

Speaking as someone who has performed that role... you are absolutely correct. Being a decent human being will carry you far.

If everyone's locks work, and a newer, stronger lock comes out... does anyone benefit?
That's a stupid question.

I think the deal with this is that, being open, everyone is on the same level.
Not so with closed algorithms.
Hypothetical: Selling NewCrypto to Russia, would result in Russia having an advantage over China, and China then being pissed at us for it.
He's a damn farmer! You expect him to know about "various kinds of radiation?"
Let's be realistic here.
I love when people go flip a circuit breaker closed without inspecting to see why it opened in the first place...
