Konqueror comes with AdBlock built-in, so that's an instant win in my book. It's fast, integrates with my desktop (unlike Firefox), and even has a few extensions of its own.
Sorry, but the legal law of the land (17 USC in this case) doesn't mention the word "steal" or "theft" or any other similar word in the context of copyright infringement. Thanks for playing the Legalese v. Colloquialisms Game; you lost.
I know this is a bit of an anecdote, but I emailed my friends about Flash 9 for Linux rather than IE7 since it was more relevant. Tech support is much more fun when your family and friends use Linux, Macs, BSD, and other Unix-like operating systems.
Phoenix was supposed to be a lite version of Mozilla. I liked Firebird, but that only lasted a couple point-releases. Firefox 0.8 is where the bloat started coming in.:(
I just tried the version for XP SP2, and I got this error (wine 0.9.23):
wine: Call from 0x402da6 to unimplemented function KERNEL32.dll.HeapSetInformation, aborting wine: Unimplemented function KERNEL32.dll.HeapSetInformation called at address 0x402da6 (thread 0009), starting debugger... Unhandled exception: unimplemented function KERNEL32.dll.HeapSetInformation called in 32-bit code (0x7efb7457)....
Maybe without that incentive, Disney will stop lobbying for copyright extensions? That way we can actually make use of all this material again.

And then the Linux users can utilise that extra processing power for more SETI@Home stuff. Awesome!
How about "C-K foo bar"? Just have Wikipedia as the default search engine and bam.
Yeah, but it will still be 1080p.

One is a deliberate lie, and the other has set us back hundreds of years.
Yeah, I completely see how perjury is far more severe than shitting on the US Constitution on a daily basis while in the federal government.
Dude, he has a /. account; you can't get more techy than that. ;p
If YouTube removed duplicates, then it would becomes the next low-quality scene. :P
Make that 10 year old standards since that was about the last time IE had any significant renderring engine updates other than IE7 (finally).

I think that KPDF works with hyperlinks. You should at least check it out to see.

Yeah, go steal them from stores and stuff; less legal issues to worry about if you get caught.
Does the Blackberry do RSS? If so, just use the RSS feed.
Click the "See Context" link to read the thread. Problem solved.
Lately I've been getting at least 1 unfair flamebait/troll mod every time I M2, so I'm doing my part by marking them as such.
Doesn't work in WINE at the moment for some reason. I'm sure this'll be fixed in 0.9.24 or something.
Submit it again; some of the editors are douches.
Since MS fixed the "* html" hack and a few others yet forgot to fix the rest of CSS they shit on, we're going to have fun with this one...
Seemed to work for Trolltech, MySQL, Red Hat, Novell, and many others...
Wow, you can get a full version of XP Home for less than that in the states. Meh...
You could reinstall the bootloader after installing Windows.
I tend to not dual boot to avoid complications such as these. Maybe Grub will be able to substitute the entirety of the Windows bootloader?
It's just the Microsoft astroturfers with mod points again...
So, that $10k pays for, what, 1/3 a year? Tuition is expensive. :(
