hey i'm just saying that if my ti 999/4a booted up with advertisements or came with an on call pager that would wake me up in the middle of the night when there was a production down because my basic program from compute! suddenly crashed I might have made a different career choice.
when I was in my early teens playing with my ti99/4a I would never have thought that I would have to deal with BS like this( advertising on my computer , programs that block the advertisers, companies pay said programs to advertise on my computer) on my computer. That and a production on call support schedule
when I worked at at&t I bought the eeepc 701 right when it came out because a small, cheap laptop without a cdrom was exactly what i wanted to carry around. So i got into the elevator with an at&t exec, he looks at the eeepc and with a smirk says "oh that is one of those kids laptops"... yeah whatever...
i also have always liked virtual box - i was surprised at a mac store one time - a customer asked if vmware or parallels was better and the sales person actually suggested that they try virtual box.
maybe in those documents you can have a version history so that your name pops up whenever some one access it, this also would be good for the documents.
Much like Empire Strikes Back Episode Two ends on a down note, making you question what the future will bring in a hard and sometimes confusing world. Unlike that trilogy, though, the end of Gordon Freeman's tale has yet to be told. Just one more game to go before we find out the ultimate fate of the Freeman.
I don't mind all of these comparisions with the empire strikes back, just as long as there are no ewoks in the third episode - unless I get to kill them!

I also had a lot of problems with math. however i was really good at sports. The difference between the two was that I would do the homework for math and think that I was ready for the test, and maybe memorize some stuff. While in sports I would go practice the play over and over again until it was second nature.
What I started doing was coping over and over my homework until I memorized the question and the solution ( and not just copy for copying sake but really know what you are doing). The teacher has only so many questions within the chapters to ask so the questions on the test will be very similar to the questions on the homeowork.

you mean the jocks right? Paying for all the sports equipment to feed their egos so that at least at one part of their life they can look back and say they were happy?

the new numbers seem more accurate with what my display shows - at one time I had the overall mpg @ 50 or so but it usually sits at around 46.5. Also I just got my $3000+ tax refund check - thanks to my prius but the reason I got it was because it is pretty roomy inside and it really feels like a spaceship when you take off.
> I'd love to hear other people's imagination reply to these inevitably wrong projections:)

even though I don't agree I like that these options for the mainstream are becoming available... families in suburbia can basically have the same infrastructure that.com's had in the 90's. post a couple of flyers around the neighborhood and you have yourself a money making sysadmin job supporting families...

I know the article doesn't mention a match with parrots but my girlfriend has a blue front amazon and I swear they act just like how I would think a T Rex would act. They growl and they even have "orange eyes" when they are totally pissed off or excited...

yeah that is exactly why I turn on telnet for a couple of hours during work - a friend of mine found a remote desktop that works on port 80 so I might have to use that - I doubt the company will like the bandwidth it uses though....

i got a prius this year and I understand your hate but the car is so much like a spaceship that the geek sitting on my shoulder nodded and I obeyed - put a gps system and a portable dvd on the dashboard and you got yourself an x wing fighter!

you could show your support by buying a game from this guy - I saw that he had some good european board games like alhambra, settlers, Carcassonne. Also robo rally is a fun board game
Not only does this film challenge our imagination as moviegoers, it challenges other filmmakers to throw away their sorcery, and base their fantasies on a reasonable portrayal of the way that scientists actually work.
Hence after BB all movies about computers also followed these strict guidlines......
