    Even one of the pre-USA English kings claimed tobacco was unhealthy. But nobody outside of the tobacco companies knew how unhealthy because the tobacco companies hid the facts about how tobacco causes cancer.

    Does being a "Mac-type person"(aka an idiot) include having a humorectomy? Because that comment makes it seem like that's so.
    At any rate, the only piece of my computer that's beige is my monitor, and the rest is black and silver, which is infinitely better than white plastic. Hell, even beige is better than white plastic. I'll leave me to my better and cheaper hardware, while you get to keep your white--wait, now it's yellow!--plastic.

    Um, what new media standard was created by Apple in the past few years(AAC wasn't made by Apple, and FairPlay is only DRM, and not even standard)
    In fact, what has Apple actually set? All they did was steal from Xerox.

    I was kidding. I primarily said that because my parent poster said that Linux and/or Firefox was defective. The most defective platform is obviously Windows/IE. But anyways, I use Windows/Firefox, Linux/Firefox, Linux/elinks, FreeBSD/Firefox, and FreeBSD/elinks. Haven't used a Mac since before OSX though.

    Fascism did not start in Germany. Fascism started in Hungary and Italy. It didn't really care much about Jews until Hitler came into power. Furthermore, terrorism has only killed maybe ten thousand people. Fascist and authoritarian governments have killed over ten million.

    No, that's the origin of Free Software. OSS originated with ESR, who is also mad as a hatter, and also lives on the East Coast(Pennsylvania to be exact).

    Acually, there were a few worms in the very early days of Unix(read about the Morris worm) but they were patched up immediately and I don't think any got near as widespread as any of the Windows viruses.
