Of course this is the same Kerry that when in Michigan on a campaign stop, he boasted about owning several large vehicles, including a Suburban. And then at an Earth Day campaign stop, when questioned about it said, no I don't own any SUVs, and when pressed further said he didn't own them 'his family' owned them.
He changes his position based upon the audience he is in front of. If that is not a flip-flop, I don't know what is.
Let me share my experience traveling back from China where we adopted our daughter.
On our return trip from LAX to DFW, upon entering the gate area at whatever terminal American Airlines flies out of, my family was picked out for the more detailed search. Yep, my wife and I, a ten-month-old boy, and a twelve month old Chinese girl (both were riding in a stroller) were searched, belts, shoes removed, around the neck wallets removed, we were separated from my daughters irreplaceable adoption paperwork from china, had to take our children out of the stroller, fold the dang thing up and push it through the x-ray (what could we hide in a double Combi stroller??? a bomb in the tubing??? I'm sure they could see through the tubing, right, not! But I digress) Needless to say it was a pointless mess, probably done just so they can say they don't profile.
Did we look like terrorists?!?!!? Hell no!!
Oh yeah, here's a tip I learned from our several american legs of the flight, at the gate, don't be the first in line to go to the airplane, at least three of our flights they picked the first ones to get on (and it was usually a couple in thier sixties or so going to first class). We usually were like second in line and we were never stopped at the gate.
I am the sole wage earner for my 4 (and soon to be 5) person household. I could live closer to work, but then I would be farther away from family, and would likely have to pay more for a house than I do now. I could get another job, but then I would have to find one that allows me to earn the same amount and have equitable benefits, with a like amount of job security.
I could drive an Accent, but I already drive an Elantra, which is about the smallest car that will work for our family. I'd really like to have a VW diesel, but I've owned VWs in the past, and their reliability was not up to par (particularly the electrics). Smart does not market cars where I live.
My wife drives a minivan, which suits our needs, it's as heavy as many SUVs and get SUV-like mileage (~15mpg). It sucks but we need it to haul the kiddoes and their stuff.
Just want to point out that not everybody can ride a bike, or drive an ultra small car to work.
On the good old iTunes library, I have Rush, lots of Rush. Yes, Genesis (the old Peter Gabriel variety) Eric Johnson (including the the '70's Electromagnets)
And just remember for those of you who live where they put MTBE or Ethanol in your gasoline, that part of that gallon of gas is really oxygen...any car with an oxygen sensor knows this and richens up the mixture...decreasing your fuel economy.
Ferrari builds Japanse cars?
You mean like FIAT owns Ferrari?
Actually the McDonalds' I've been to in Shanghai and Chonqing have been pretty cheap, at least by US McD prices.
Well of course...we all know that life began on Kobol.
The Atari 5200 I had back in 1982 (or was it 83) had analog joysticks, and IIRC, it had four ports for game controllers, too.
No, you're modem is in the hard drive (see the phone jacks?...no the smaller ones).
You might also know it as your cpu.
An LS-120, you insensitive clod!
Would it help to think of the midichlorians as a symptom rather than a cause??
I can't recall if it explicitly stated that the midichlorians were the 'source' of Force mastery...anyone else remember?
And don't forget, Texas was the only state that originally was a sovereign nation!!
Yes, like http://www.boeing.com/, I'm sure their website is set up just to impress 18-25 year olds.

Yeah, but if you shut off the ignition, it engages the steering wheel lock, so you won't be able to turn the wheel anymore, even if you have assist.
At least this is true for cars sold in the U.S.
The original Macintosh had 128KB of ram.

My XP box at work blue screens about three times per week, usually the problem is listed as "Bad Pool Caller", whatever that means.

Yeah, that's going to work for my 30 mile each way commute, when it's 95+ degrees outside for the ride home.
Hell, I used to _race_ bicycles in college and I still wouldn't attempt to commute to my job.
The Dallas show was excellent!

Ah, yes, that does happen to be on the 'Silly Songs with Larry CD'. But my favorite has got to be 'The Song of the Cebu'. And I quote:
Mute cebú is waving and grunting. Mmm-hmm mmm mmm, mmm-hmm mmm mmm, mmm-hmm mmm mmm, mmm-hmm mmm mmm mmm mmm
Cebú!

Wonder where that puts me?
My original Rev. A Bondi Blue iMac has a fan...

By his comment I understand him to mean he had a BMW motorcycle, retrofitted with a 320i motor with bad valve guides...
Maybe the BMW acted this way because you were insulting it by using 'beemer' as it's nickname.
'Bimmer' = BMW Automobile
'Beemer' = BMW Motorcycle
Just wanted to clear that up, thanks.
