  1. Re:National Insecurity on State Secrets Defense Rejected In Wiretapping Case · · Score: 1

Are you saying the American government is a terrorist group? Nobody in there seems to remember what they used to say before going out and saying the exact opposite a few years later.

Maybe the NSA just wanted a cheap way out of demolishing a bridge, who knows, all those golf parties do cost a lot of money.

  3. National Insecurity on State Secrets Defense Rejected In Wiretapping Case · · Score: 5, Insightful

The Justice Department has repeatedly sought to block the suit by invoking national security concerns.

I really don't feel secure from so much government secrecy, seems like it's their argument to everything for the past few years.

It's like saying Windows is secure because it's running secret proprietary code under the hood.

Since when is the linux crowd the most intelligent human beings? I'm not against linux people or anything but I fail to see how smarter they are compared to any other kind of people. In my opinion they're just more knowledgeable in this one field.

India obviously wants their share of the moon's resources too. I doubt you want to know if the moon has minerals just to put stats on paper, someone someday is going to mine it.

I wonder what is going to happen then, will the corporations share the resources or will we get the moon wars?

I thought Microsoft gave up on thinking ever since they invented Clippy. The company looks more of a marketing-monkey farming house these days.

Come to think of it, they sound like my little 14yo brother who have to get credit for anything he can think of. Kids these days.

The OpenCL spec is also way shorter than the OpenGL spec, and so are the header files. If you want to compare the time it takes to bring specifications out you have to compare the resulting size of these specifications.

about 7 years ago, when i still was in high school, i was at the computer lab and wanted to play the little games that were on my DOS 5.0 floppies, i couldnt play at home cause my monitor was one of those 4 shades of green ones, ill never remember how they are called. (this was my first year playing with computers) anyways. what i did was to bring the floppies at school, and install DOS 5.0 over win95. rebooted. started a game. the computer speaker started some cheap music and the guy came over and told me that we arent supposed to play games. That is then that i noticed windows was gone. wee i couldnt access the labs anymore after that.
