Iran is willing to fight until the last Arab dies...which says a lot since Iranians are mostly Persians, not Arabs.

  7. I don't think the Republican party has moved if by that you mean that Republicans have changed their beliefs. I think the Party faithful have remained where they've been since Reagan. Nixon had his Southern strategy of picking off Wallace supporters and then the South moved to the Republican camp because Democrats were telling them things they did not want to hear. That started the Evangelicals to renounce the Democrat party. Reagan cashed in on the Evangelical vote and the Southern vote. George Bush extended that a bit, and also produced the Willie Horton ads. Bush Jr. was little different but promised the Evangelicals more. Trump merely caused normal people to quit the Republican party so now it is the party of the leftovers.

But the house won't be wrecked by climate change. It will be rising sea levels, or a nasty hurricane. And that will get attributed to "weather" or in Evangelical circles, an Act of G-d. Scientists will point to climate change causing the sea levels to rise and an increase in nasty hurricanes. But it will be impossible to pin it on that particular hurricane. And the sea levels will be claimed to be rising and falling through out Earth's history, so it blame again gets diffused.

And as long as el Presidente Tweetie says stupid things like, where's the global warming during the current cold snap in the N. East, Republicans will continue to believe global warming isn't real, or it isn't man made, or Jesus will save us so we don't have to try to save the Earth ourselves.

No, you are just being stupid. That donation is a one time deal, not an ongoing expense like public transportation. The basic problem is that the public transportation being run like a business means that it must be taxed. That means the public would have to pay for its use of the roads and other infrastructure. Coincidentally, that's not unlike what's happening now with fares, think of them as a business tax. If that isn't enough to cover it, then they'll be raising prices which means fewer people riding it which means lower economic activity which means lower tax receipts. Lunch is never free, even in your bunny world.
