  9. Apparently he doesn't need his tweets to lie. He does that in his campaign speeches and any other interaction with the Press. He runs off at the mouth and then the alleged Administration stiffs have to run around like disturbed ants attempting to justify whatever inane statement he made. His policy decisions are no different. Instead of using thought out analysis, he simply declares something will be the policy and then the alleged Administration attempts to implement it. Naturally, it screws up because they are almost but not quite as entirely clueless as is he.

It probably had nothing to do with HFCS since the sugars in it are not all that different from cane sugar. More likely is that American manufacturers decide to put sugars into every damn type of processed food. HFCS were simply cheaper. Foreign manufacturers selling to the American public got in on the act to compete and then decided to pump up the sugar content for their domestic consumption.

Large amount of sugar is simply bad for you no matter where it comes from.

I can tell you one result: Britain will have to recreate all the infrastructure they used to get from the EU. This will cost Britain more in the long run because they will get any economy of scale out of that. Drug regulations? Oh, they'll now need their own, wouldn't want to use those naughty EU regs on drugs. Import-export controls? They'll be needing their own. Scientific exchanges? Throw some sand into those. Britain's health care system? No safety valves in foreign workers...foreign workers bad, incompetent locals good.

I have a feature phone in my brief case but I never turn it on except to check that it works once a month. One time, it vibrated and beeped at me. Puzzled, I discerned it wanted me to listen to a voice message...or text message...well, one of those. So I hit the Lay-It-On-Me button (I forget what I hit) and it wanted my passcode. Hmmm...I have a passcode? At this point, I realized I was in way over my head and hung up. I won't try that again. Right now, AT&T probably has overflowed my voice and text mail limits.
