Okay, in what will be most likely a vain effort to shed some light on the "Bush was a cheerleader" situation. First of all, the picture that you have linked to was in fact not from his time at Yale, but during his high school years at Phillips Academy, Andover. I cannot speak knowledgeably about the specifics of the situation during his time, but as it stands now, the position of "Blue Key Head" (which is most likely what he was) is a respectable position with responsibilities including:
- Organizing and overseeing orientation of new students
- Planning campus student activities
- and of course, cheering at games.
The thing to keep in mind, however, is that there are an equal number of male and female Blue Key heads, but that during the time that Bush attended Andover, it was still a No-girls-allowed school. How do I know all of this? Because I am currently a senior and member of the Blue Key society (of which the Blue Key heads are the leaders) at Phillips Academy. And although I would love to go into more detail about my great school, I have to run off to AP German now. Aufwiedersehen!
Is it just me, or is the whole argument of whether you can play songs you bought from napster in iTunes moot? iTunes has what, 1 million songs? I am willing to bet that at least 80% of the songs that napster, WMPstore et al. has, iTMS also has. Probably higher. Hey Ya! from iTMS is the same as Hey Ya! from Napster is the same as Hey Ya! from Musicmatch...
Is this really useful? I mean, I have never had a problem with my mouse not having the resolution to click the "submit" button.
Seriously though, I think mouse (and keyboard) makers have run into a similar problem as sound card makers: our mice/soundcards are already good enough. I personally have a Logitech mx500 and love it to death, but I do not see any way the pointing function could be improved.
Oh well, its a frickin laser.

I think that this is the wrong solution to a very real problem. While I would agree that standard def tv could use some improvement, the problem does not lie in the representation of color. IMHO the main problem is resolution. I have seen plenty of digital RGB photos that can, for all intents and purposes, perfectly represent what they capture. The problem is that standard-def is at a pretty low res (480i IIRC). The solution would be to simply pump more data at higher resolutions, like 720p.
