Oh yes, I've known about existing ports, but never really thought them as finished as the Xbox one. With a bit of polish (Aeon skin) and an ignorant eye towards the bit of lag from running in 720p (or the skip and stutter during DVDs in 1080i), I've been happy with it.

Although now that I've seen that wishlist I've got it in my head to follow up on a project I've had to make a decent media center... now if only it would play Xbox games! :)

  9. What could I be looking for? on Practical Reasons To Choose Git Or Subversion? · · Score: 1

Recently I set up a subversion repository for hobby projects of mine and other general stuff that I wanted to access on several machines. The main repo is set up on my server.

I've tried setting up GIT before, but it seemed overly complicated to get access to from all of my machines.

So the question is, is subversion right for me? None of these comments have really addressed anything closet to my situation it seems.

Just an anecdote here, but... last time I was at Walmart, they had *HALF* of the self checkouts turned off during what had to be one of the busiest days. I don't know why I keep going back for more :(

Of course they had maybe a third of the regular checkouts going. Makes you wonder what sort of apocalyptic day it is when they have all of them firing!
