We need to stop the abortion. it's just horrible and inhuman.

But a pregnant woman poisoning their unborn child for nine straight months while she smokes or does drugs is humane? That is acceptable but not having a child isn't?

What about obese women who are pregnant? There are many physical and mental defects which can occur because of obesity yet we are now supposed to celebrate it despite the lifelong pain and discomfort it may foist on a child.

Tell me, isn't the poisoning of a child a crime? If so, why aren't people like you, who most likely claim a ball of cells is a person, going after pregnant women who are poisoning their child? Why aren't you pressing your local DA to prosecute them for child abuse or attempted murder?

If you're so concerned about the welfare of the unborn then maybe we should have a government program which watches over pregnant women to make sure they aren't endangering their child. The women will have to report to a government agent every other week and give out a detailed description of what they've been eating, any exercising they've been doing, take tests to insure they haven't been using drugs, and a whole gamut of other tests to make sure their child isn't being harmed. Would that work for you? Would that be better than a woman making her own choice not to have a child?

This is no different than guy in Miami who gets hailed 2-3 times per hour. He happens to work in an area with a larger population so doesn't have to wait as long to get hailed but there are times when he's waiting to get hailed, just like in Idaho Falls.

In this case the primary use of the smartphone would have to be for Uber. Not your personal phone which happens to have an app for Uber. This means you would have to have two phones and the cost of the second, for Uber use, can only be partially deducted.

  7. hopefully the rest of us can learn to take one extra moment to make sure that what we think of as a mundane, simple thing is not overlooked.

Doubtful. People die every day from using drugs, including actors such as C. Phillip Hoffman, yet people insist it's still cool to do so.

People think driving with either an arm extended directly in front of them, grasping the top of the steering wheel, or with a single arm crossed over the body and holding the steering wheel is a safe way to drive despite people dying every day because they lack control of their vehicle.

How many kids die every year when someone leaves them in a hot car to gamble at a casino or run into Walmart? How many dogs have died the same way?

Humans are stupid. No matter how many times something bad happens to someone else because of something that was clearly preventable they'll make a big deal about it then promptly forget it the next day.
