Lol, the sad thing is, I had no intenion of buying a 360 the day I went to get get Oblivion. I found out the PC version was sold out at EB Games:(. So I went to Target and found they didn't have either version, but they still had 360's with the hard drive in Stock OMFG???? Boom, I end up with a 360 and the respective copy of Oblivion and a large chunk missing from my bank account... It's one of those Gotta have games.
$2000 TV? My HD projector in the living room is that much, but the 1080i 32" in my bedroom was only $600 and is the one I actually use for my 360. Oblivion looks awesome. Also, if you don't want to pay for the mods, then DON'T BUY THEM! They'll be free within 6 months anyway. That's what Live has done with paid downloads in the past, so if you want it now, pay. If not, you can probably have it for free in a few months.
That's local politicians who just want a distinct advantage over their competitors. If they give the people the right to vote, the people will be thankful, and vote for them. As you said though, it's only in the southwest and it's mostly lower level politicians. Anyone who cares about the greater scheme of things isn't as likely to want to give them amnesty. Our main obsicle is the shear number of illeagle immigrints though. Current estimates place the total number at 11-12 million. That's 1 out of ever 25 people in the United States. That's 1 out of every 25 people in the united states who don't pay taxes, don't pay social security, and still gain many benifits from the people who do pay them. That's that many more people looking for jobs, making less of a demand, and dropping average wages. Immigration is so swamped with illeagle immigrints that they can't afford to deport the vast majority of them. Recently, three illeagles were released after being found with 90Lbs of drugs in thier car because immigartion had no room for them. The numbers are simply too overwhelming.
Good for you. The rest of the world and myself, want the content. Myself, I'll admit I downlaod a few songs here and there, but if I like what I hear, I also buy the CD. I have almost four weeks worth of music on my computer and over 90% of that is from CDs that I own. What are you posting about this for if you don't care anyway?
Not all UAV's are all that expensive really. The Raven UAV used by the US military costs about $35,000. Less than the average squad car and probably much more useful. This is probably the closest thing to what they are talking about using in current use by the US government. It's been used with great success in the field http://www.1id.army.mil/1ID/News/September/Article _06/Article_06.htm . Also, as they are used more widely and production increases, costs to produce them will drop.
Well, it's definately not the first time, I've had it and the expansion since they came out. But I love the game so much that when I recently cracked the play disc, the first thing I did was track down another one and buy it. I've beaten that game so many times, it never gets old.
You just don't realise how picky they are about security. It dosn't matter if it actually works or not or if it's just for PR either. They don't care how importand things are, they are security nazis on everything they have a hand in. There are DOD websites where all they have is information that is easily available in other public places for anyone to look at. But because it's a military site, it's password protected and encrypted. What's going to be served at the chow hall today is more secure than this.
Someone's head is going to roll over this one. The military has been really tight on network security lately, even with contractors. A hole as big as this is simply unacceptable.
Yeah, I know. The other day, it froze up in the middle of a game after I had been playing for a while so I take the disc out and it was so hot I droped it.
Anymore, it's more a case of who people aren't voting for. Enough people disliked Kerry that Bush got elected. Honest poloticians don't get very far because the dishonest ones win more often than not. Sad, but true.
Yeah, it would definately be nice to know which is going to come out on top. I think I will buy an HD-DVD player though. I already know I'm getting a PS3 when it gets released, so I have blu-ray covered. There is a definate diffrence in picture quality. Currently, I have a 32" HD TV in my bedroom and a HD projector in my living room with HD cable to both. Unfourtunately, there are realitively few channels that broadcast in HD on cable, so most of the shows I want to watch aren't covered. What I do see is awesome though and I belive it's worth it. I'm only 22 and I can afford the TV and OMFG the projector $$$ so it's not completely out of the price range. I would think most middle class families and people living on their own could afford it.
Yes, but if they lose money off of that, then lose money off of the Xbox, and lose money off of the 360... Companies that repeatedly lose money generally don't last. They may have a vast reserve, but if they waste it, it can dissappear.
I don't know about everyone else, but I deleted all of my emails before I left my last office. I'll probably do the same when it's time to leave this one in a year and a half. No one made a big fuss about it.
If they do that, it opens room for Open Source and other competitors to move in. It would be kind of risky for them to do that. I think at this point, they have more to lose by not complying than trying to fight it. $2.36 Million a day. They may have tons of moeny, but that adds up quick and they have other investments to think about as well. As of today, that's 200 million and counting. With legal proceedings lasting as long as they do, this could turn out to be quite a big fine.
Fable was a great game, I beat the original three times, and I recently beat the rerelease of it which was much more finished, but they could have done a much better job on it. In fact, it was originally so hyped that most people were very dissapointed with the it when it was released. It was supposed to support multiplayer, full Xbox Live play, and many other things. If they do come out with Fable 2, and I hope they do, they need to come through on what they promise. Heck, I'd be happy if they manage to put all the features they were originally supposed to have in the first oneon the second.
I can't find the exact one I have, but here's a 30" 1080i for $525http://shop.pcmag.com/shop/product_specs/Toshi ba+30HF85+30+TV+Products+/24575221.aspx and a 420p as cheep as $325 http://shop.pcmag.com/shop/product_specs/Toshiba+3 2A35+32+TV+Products+/25711149.aspx
Bull Shit That.

That took you six months? It took me six minutes. Thank you W3Schools.com http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_howto.asp

Where did that come from? Any proof for that at all or is it just the flamebait it smells like to me?

Yeah, Windows Defender will be so much better than all the other programs people use, just like their firewall for XP, right?

Will you marry me?
That's where my laptop comes into play. My Desktop only moves when I change residences.
I did that when my 360 kept overheating. Works quite well :)
It's not that expensive for a kit anymore, cuts noise out of the picture completely, and is much more effecient to boot. http://compreviews.about.com/od/cpus/a/LiquidCooli ng.htm I don't know why more people don't use it.

The comment was slightly sarcastic. I have XP Pro, Office 03 Pro, and a wealth of MS games on my computer, plus an Xbox with about 20 games.
I'm sorry, but I fail to see what exactly you're talking about? Is there really that much of a diffrence?
