Unfortunately, that doesn't always work. I've had backups claim to have completed w/ checksums, only to be unable to read the tape 5 minutes later. Turns out it was a problem with the tape drive.
So I've decided to friend you because of this post/explanation - but there's one thing I have to comment on:
On his inauguration day, his limo was pelted with snowballs as it drove by blocks and blocks of protesters. What could Bush have possibly done 1 hr before even taking office to cause such rage among the left? I understand the election of 2000 was kind of rough, but I don't think Gore would have had to drive through snow-ball armed protesters had he gotten an inauguration.
A lot of people felt the election was stolen from them. No, that's not exactly his fault, by any means, but he was the result of said theft. I feel that something fishy has been going on with elections since the late 80's, for me it's not a "the neocons are fixing elections!" it's much more tin-foil hat than that.
You don't destroy stations, that's wasteful. You punch through their shields completely, then hit the armor until the station "surrenders", then recharge the shields once you own it.
This wasn't to ruin anyone's day, war was declared - and we didn't declare it.
If I may add to this, if you look at the things that shake another's "faith in their fellow man", you'll find that most of them can fit under the 10 Commandments. That is, if you do things that could make people like other people less, you're probably sinning.. If you're loving and caring about others (even those that have harmed you), it's probably not sinning.
You're in the wrong space, then. Join a corp that's in one of the larger alliances. Just last weekend, we went patrolling the connecting jumps between two stations in a very large group (80+ fleet). We then met up with a fleet of 20 or so at the end point, and decided to join them on their station raid. The target station never had a chance. The "fleet" they had guarding it lasted maybe a minute.
It's not so much about protecting kids FROM opinions, but helping them realize that they ARE opinions. I don't care how "smart" some 12 year old is, they're not going to be able to discern a lot of opinions from fact. Hell, most adults have issues with discerning opinion from fact.
If you sit a kid in front of a particularly single-minded religious TV station for a while, and they believe it's fact and not opinion/faith, you're doing a disservice to them as future, constructive members of society. I don't even believe MY religion is completely infallible; no religion is.
Kids should be taught how to form their own opinions, and probably when and how to express them properly.
If you ask a well-educated Rabbi what the meaning of that "mis-order" is, he'll likely tell you that "light" and "dark" are metaphors for "existence" and "non-existence". You can't have one without the other. If there was not existence, what would you measure "non-existence" against? Then they'll tell you "day" and "night" represent the transitive effects between the two - creation and entropy. The creation of the sun, moon and stars would represent the foundation of universe-level laws - orbital mechanics, gravity, perhaps even quantum mechanics (those are the rabbis with the tin-foil yarmulkes).
Then if you say to him with the sarcasm you use that "God wrote it." he'll laugh at you. Man wrote it, in an attempt to quantify something that was passed onto them - something they did not truly understand.
Having worked at IBM during their Notes transition, and currently working at a VERY large corp who uses Notes internally, I seriously doubt they only have one Notes server - AND it doesn't take much hardware to retain data for more than a year. This company is already complying with the new Fed laws, and manages just fine with a few dozen servers.
That's not to say that another solution would be more efficient with hardware than Notes, but I highly doubt Intel is hurting for hardware to manage their Notes servers -- if they are truly running Notes.
Most companies that run Notes only do such because they made a decision to run cc:Mail a long time ago, and have been terrified of going any other direction.
There's an even older one that only worked on those old Diebold's that had the one-piece garage door-like opening for the cash to come out. If you held open the door and left the cash there (it was apparently hard to keep open), the ATM would reset, and the last transaction would be dropped from its audit trail - meaning you could take that cash out, let the door drop, and redo-from-start. This was later fixed (though I wouldn't doubt there's a bank or two who refused to update).
You weren't the only person who sent them an email, I know myself and at least one other colleague did. Though, I'm sure numbers always help. :)

Actually, they just started rolling out commercial services in some cities (including mine!).
:/
Fear my fat 10Gb Ether uplink!
Fear my empty bank account for the next 8 years...

I could've, until she got fired last week..
I learned a long time ago that stressing about other people's HTML/markup leads to ulcers.

What are you talking about? That happens in the USA!

We hope to announce self-replication in 2008.
Does this bother anyone besides me?
And wow, my engrish grammar skillz are borked today.

the problem is finding enough porn to keep the engine killing the kittens..
oh wait.
The project website for downloading the client is what I'm referring to. Strange, maybe I was going to an old site or something?
The funny thing is, modern coal-burning technologies burn coal far cleaner than any petroleum-burning processes for power generation.
Why are we still using oil for power generation in the US? I know not every state is, but a great deal of them do.
strange.. it was "offline" for over a year, and it didn't appear to be coming back.
It's too bad they shutdown the project - I looked forward to installing the client on my new system.
One word:
Steam.

because apparently, only Heroes can afford the PS3.

Why is this marked Troll?
/. where stating something informative/truthful can get you marked as a Troll?!?
Oh wait, this is
Wait, you're telling me that he's sending up 3 modules for less than the cost of a screw driver?!
