Whatever. This has nothing to do with nationality, and everything to do with an individual. We don't even know if the shooter WAS an American. Not to mention, there's still word that there may have been more than one shooter.
The difference is, Clinton didn't pick and choose, he fired all of them, which is actually not rare among Presidents are of a different party than the previous.
The question with the US Attorneys' firings are more along the line of - "Did they pick and choose who to fire based on who would look more favorable at their actions over the past 8 years?" rather than "Did they just fire all them Democrat-hired lawyers?!?"
Same farm, same grove of trees, but apples and oranges, nonetheless.
PS: I'm a Democrat who commonly votes Republican when the Dem is a 'tard. Oddly enough, I had a lot of trouble deciding who to vote for in 2004.
IANAL, but this doesn't sound correct. Don't you have to provide proof of creation in order to hold the copyright on something? If you don't claim it as yours, for example, by putting "Copyright 2007 Some Dude" or something like that, someone can copy it and use it until you ask them to stop. And if I'm not mistaken, just SAYING "Copyright" doesn't mean it is - there's more to do.
The site itself wasn't an april fools joke, it actually existed and had several articles. I'm guessing the slashdotting led to a server crash, and perhaps they pointed the DNS to a new host prematurely (ie, haven't set up the Apache server)?
Except this new device doesn't even compare to what Apple claims the iPhone can do - not by a long shot.
The new phone uses an SD card for its whopping(!) 64MB of storage space. It also runs that crappy OS that Samsung/Sprint likes to put on their phones.
Whereas the iPhone has 4GB (and I believe an 8GB model is in the works?), runs MacOS X, plays wide-screen video, has a multi-touch display, is quad-band, supports EDGE, supports WiFi, etc.
How is this looking "Trump" the iPhone? Dear lord, this is like comparing a Yugo to a Lamborghini. It just DOESN'T compare.
as twitter just stated, why even bother refilling it when there's sugar in your blood stream. heck, I know I consume far more complex sugars than I should on occasion. Imagine powering a small beowulf cluster embedded in your skin with this!
No, you cannot patent a business model (though business methods are up in the air). Their patent is on "one-click purchase" or something like that. Last I heard there was a legal battle involving it.
I couldn't remember the term "on contingency", which is why I said "or nearly so" on the pro bono. Thanks for making what I was trying to say clearer, though.
IANAL, but I watched several friends destroy their souls in law school - from what I understand, you're completely correct. If the RIAA starts bleeding in the water, lawyers all over will start taking the cases pro bono or nearly so. They usually ask for a small (30-40%) portion of the settlement, should you win.
And this is why Senators and Representatives need term limits. Two for Senators, five or six for Reps. I think 12 years should be PLENTY of time to get programs you think are needed into place and moving.
Instead we have 80-90 year old Senators and Representatives who lost touch with society and how it works in the 1970s. This isn't representation, it's a farce.

He's already blamed it on Counterstrike.
I'll give you three guesses which cable news channel had him on the air - the first two don't count.
sigh.

Eh, I tend to agree with them, but vote for who I think is going to get the job done.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.
There's a developer's union?
WTF? Where?
Oh wait, you probably mean "housing" developer or something, right?
Unless he only has 5% body fat - it could be all muscle. Wait, this is /.
Hmm.
It's called "Hibernate" and most modern OSes support it out of the box - albeit some require some configuration to turn it on.
I'm sorry, Doug is in the server room, swapping Zip disks. How can I help you?

or something.
More likely, the Ori are not aliens, but probably the same "human" race as the Ancients.
Man, I'm a dork.
oh, in that case, 3 times! :)

Comparing two cities in the same state is far from eliminating location. Try getting them in 2 days in say, Moab, Utah..
Proper queens don't beg.

Unless it's a dagger of troll-slaying (+4 vs Trolls)!
The term you're looking for is "chum".

twice as many.
40 x 3 = 120
40 x 2 = 80
120 - 80 = 40

There is, indeed, an IMAP server out-of-the-box on OS X. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe it's Cyrus IMAPd
Aren't you supposed to be posting this in the Opinion Center: Intel [tm] section?
