A certain TV station in Nashville placed a link to Whitehouse.com on their website as a related link back when I worked across town at their competitor. It stayed up for a week before they caught it and MY boss called me in to make sure that I knew the difference.. Quite funny really..
My one year old just got 6 stitches in the ER after he fell and split his lip open. The ER bill was $5000, that does not include the bill from the attending doc..
I hope you do not ever have an accident or get sick.
Charge $5-10 for an install fee and tell the reporter to bugger off. You still make money, look good to open source, charge a reasonable fee to handle your overhead and get to tell some reporter idiot (I know they're idiots, I worked in TeeVee for 8 years as a photog) to get lost.
Geeze not a difficult business decision here. Whether they have the cojones to go against M$ is another argument.
It's an uplink to be exact. They are sending the signal from the station to a transmitter/ repeater system (uplinking the output to the distribution system). In the states its known as a STL (Studio to Transmitter Link). Too bad the FCC would probably fine the crap out of any station that tried that here.
I'm running greylisting with a 30sec delay and it has stopped 99.5% of my spam flood. The rest are getting flagged by spamassassin. Zombie SMTP spambots are not written to try again at all, they move to the next addy on the list.
Just set up authentication on your server and smart host out through your ISP. On the road you connect and authenticate to your mail server, it takes the message and relays out through your ISP's SMTP server.
"The RIAA doesn't have the power to overrule the "first-sale" doctrine. You can resell an HD-DVD if you want, and it's none of their business.

they don't have this power Yet.
How long do you think it will be before the correct amount of $$ finds the right pocket in Washington to insert a little legislation in some obscure, unrelated legislation?
Not just outbound, they are also blocking IN-bound 25. So you can't run your server and smart host out through their crappy SMTP servers either. It took me 2 hours to set up a forward and send mail in on port 26 after I figured what they were doing, but the bone-headed move sent me packing for cable shortly thereafter. BS management are IDIOTS.

We don't need another hero.

"It's the "Z"end of the world as we know it".... I feel sick...
So much for "Do No Evil"
They did try to invent a network standard to lock windows PC's together... no one used it.
The vast majority of Vikings were Norwegion not Swedish. My Viking ancestors kicked your ancestors buttocks. Be nice or I'll throw lutefisk at you.

Exactly? He's the secretary of defense!
Yeah, like the "Chased by a bear" analogy: You don't have to run faster than the bear to escape, just faster than your slowest buddy.
That is not a small number... that is a very large number!!! Ack poor compy.
And it embiggens his point.
They do, just load Eric Bolton into any portable music player and hit play. Colin clearing brown noise hilarity ensues.
