Why even make a contentious point as an AC with no evidence? Is it because you realize blatant racism is wrong, and you don't want or can't handle the criticism? Or do you really think you are convincing someone?
I think Heinlein already brought this up in one of his books about a moon colonies or space stations. Something about how people expect everything to be free and don't want to pay for what they use. Granted on earth, air is rather free - though some of its utility is thanks to pollution controls.
I don't quite understand your rebuttal, but it does seem odd that he gets better mileage at 80mph than 70mph. I'd just say he's measuring wrong somehow. Or he can draft at 80, and at 70, they all pass him.
If I didn't already post I'd be modding you up. This is the first common sense apolitical post I've seen, though I'm not sure how well whatever party that kills farm subsidies will fare come next election.
Or that all phones should have inch thick plastic and rubberized surrounds so that the people who drop their phones onto concrete or bus floors can do so with confidence.
This guy deserves a +1. I've had the exact same experience cleaning viruses and I can usually track the virus source to a limewire download folder. Makes me wonder if the music industry wasn't responsible for those viruses masquerading as songs.
I have doubts rock will ever be back to where it was in the 70s, and it's been downhill ever since - at least in the mainstream. There are still plenty of great bands and artists though -- my favorite being the White Stripes. Now that I think of it, I suppose it depends on your definition or genre of rock.
Like always it depends on the song. Some are good and some suck. You can't say every acoustic song of the 60s was awesome. I happen to like this autotuned Charlie Sheen interview/song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkrKq82M_QY
That was a rather good comeback. I think we can all agree that as long as it sounds good, it's fine. The question of how much you have to spend until it sounds good enough varies per person and per equipment -- that and some people fall for scams rather easily.
I wouldn't say that about all charities. I work at a large non-profit daycare / before & after school program / family services that was started by two nuns, and granted the majority of money goes to staff and facilities, the staff and facilities are what benefit the children, families, and employees all at the same time. I think the difference is that we're all paid very poorly and nobody is getting rich off the system over here -- even our CEO (The nuns now hold honorary and speaking roles as they are in their late 60s+) just drives a Nissan Altima.
For any large charity, there's a fair amount of staff and infrastructure to maintain. I'd be surprised if 50% of a donation makes it to the people in Japan.
I like the typo in the link. That's exactly how profiteers work -- by praying on the unwary. By the way, you can also paypal donations to Docsavage64109@gmail.com
Heh, back in the day, my friend used to pirate music off the few tv music shows (Solid Gold?) to his tape recorder via tv speaker and tape recorder's built-in mic.
Why even bother? Just get a Netflix sub and do it the legal way. There's no need to own hundreds of movies, unless you like to watch the same thing over and over.
I've played a fair bit of GTA in my time, and other than news reports, the thought of murdering hookers in GTA never crossed my mind. I wonder how this even started? It reminds me of all the news reports lately of over-the-counter convenience store drugs that I never new existed. The news is informing us what they are called, how to use them, and where to buy them. Seems rather odd to me.

That's what they want you to believe. This is obviously a smear campaign to cover up their keylogger.
Exactly. At this point, there aren't enough electric cars to worry about.
I think 10,000 gas cars can subsidize 1 electric.

This will help subsidize breast exams.

I agree with you except for one thing: electric cars. These people would be getting use of roads and paying zero road taxes.
Theoretically you may have a point, but I've seen neither car bulge asphalt like a large truck or bus can.
Interesting. Was it in a case?
Requires your login and password. I recommend you don't share those with terrorists.
You do realize that iphones are heavy little bastards? It'd be like dropping a brick.
wouldn't it be at some fraction of 1g if it's approaching the ground?
