In scool, I used to show people some screenshots (on enlightenment homepage) of E when thay said "linux is so ugly". All they had seen was the icky fvwm (which is good, but not pretty) and openwindows. It sure shut them up!! Anyhow, keep those cool inventions coming!!

I think it's good that people start to understand what google was/is about! I was wondering the whole time (in the google-beginning) when google was going to start to "cash in" on their business (I never understod how they got the cash to run the operation in the beginning).
They worked hard to get to be "the one to rule them all" using the strong Internet community, DMOZ and beeing friends with the "nerds" (rank.org higher than.com), now they'll cash in, and anyone that wants a top SERP position will either have to register a.org tld (and kiss few asses over at the DMOZ crew) OR PAY for a position (hmm.. would be nice if one could PAY to get into THE (one to rule them all) Directory.
In most of the world Democrats are not regarded as "lefties", where I live none expect the Democrats to act much different than the Reps, but what pisses everyone off is the weirdness of the US election, if the #1 democracy in the world can't handle an election (no ID-check, weird machines, no papertrail etc etc) where will that leave the rest of the world??
The US has an RESPONSIBILITY (thats what I feel...) to act civilized and could (and should) be something beutiful, an alternative to communism and non-democracy societys in general. DON'T YOU GET IT?? BE ALL YOU CAN BE!!
Now, don't let the tin-foil hats, the anti US anti everything fight this battle!! For gods sake, PRAVDA is reporting this stuff, and make fun of the US election!! !!!

A poll made in one of the biggest swedish news-sites shows that 79% didn't trust the american election-system...I belive that this is a normal view outside US.
The ~4000 wrong votes are only the VERIFIED ones, people are doing statistical analysis of the availble data this very moment, but the problem is that it seems hard to get the data...e.g it has been verified that cnn altered the exit polls data, this was noted by people by accident (there are screen shots - prob possible to check SERPs cache as well), read more at www.whatreallyhappened.com

Google useD to be the best, then they wanted to cash in and using goooogle ads for it. If you have a non-org/net tld you will have to pay google to show up in the search.

The weird thing is that unless google treats its own pages different, you won't even be able to find this site within 3 months, unless you are willing to work your way down to the 200:th ranked page.
