    Then we should deliberately insult you for not using spell-check. Many people on Slashdot have disabilities (including, but not limited to the one you have) that prevent them from writing correctly the first time. They usually try harder than the rest and can even get better average results than the people that just don't care about it. Same goes for those who don't have English as their first language. Writing correctly is a matter of respect and courtesy for everybody why will read your comment - while I understand your purpose with this post I don't agree with it.

    Conclusion: at least paste text in word/oo.writer/whatever and spell-check.

    You might remember that the light's frequency is different from radio-frequency - they have the same nature but they're not the same thing.

    Average is 6000 maybe if only blitting in 2D... Usually you lock max to the refresh rate - e.g. 100Hz. However with a better card you can set more graphics options (in-game / aniso / anti-alias etc.) to "high" and still get a usable framerate (over 40 fps; preferably over 60 and without stuttering).

    Dunno about your IDE's, but mine use docked windows and usually there's a column of stuff on the right and another one on the left, so the actual code/design gets squashed in the middle. Widescreen helps with that..

    Macromedia announced they don't plan on making a linux shockwave plugin - go make your own or, if you don't like that, go make a better alternative. Just go. <g,d>

    Not meeting them is a sign of a busy schedule, but not receiving letters is a sign of not being interested at all in the plebs problems.

    Well, it might be monitoring software, which has plenty of legal uses (you could install it on your own computer to catch entry attempts). Or maybe surveillance (it could view the webcam), even remote control if it had the function.

    Don't confuse the program itself with the way it was marketed (or sent - that was the problem).

    You seem not to get the point: if that guy was a race driver _instructor_ , then he was probably a very good driver and knew the track like the back of his wrinkled... hand. He'd have had times on par with Schumi (on the same car, of course). Also with that level of experience he wouldn't need much accomodation time.
