Yeah sure, despite your obvious confusion, you are still wrong. You are only looking at one side.

The other side is that HP/EDS (the same company), over promised on what they could deliver to Sky.

Both are common problems in outsourcing, both are equally likely to be true. In this case, according to the judgement and HP, it seems to be that EDS overpromised more than scope creep occured.

Yeah, well I don't want to read Microsoft propaganda as much as I don't want to read Apple propaganda. I still don't like Windows 7/Vista, and probably never well.

And the fact taht W7, that is bundled with almost every PC sold in the world, has surpassed OS X is not news in the least. It was only a matter of time. If Microsoft released something interesting, like how many people reformat the drive to go back to XP, or how many people who bought Vista down/upgraded to XP, that would be news.

You do realise that there is a lot of developers here?

So you will not mind getting fired from your job, and starting to use such a system for yourself, to make money? Because these people are fighting for their income. It is far too easy to suggest an unproven method to make money, and that they should all be happy about the changing world.

Not saying that she is correct, but it is too easy to talk about other people losing their jobs.

Ok, but more importantly Nokias profit are slipping, while Apple now make more profit with their iphone, than Nokia do with ALL their phones.

Profit is the most important measure of how well a company is doing, and Nokia are suffering.

That is why the recently announced that they are going to concentrate more on smartphones. That is where the money is. Of course, they might be too late, just like Microsoft.

N900 might be an amazing phone, technically, but most people don't, and never have cared about that. They care about how nice it is to use. Most people here still don't seem to understand that.

I love the American concept of charity, don't give to people who are starving or homeless, give to people who already have jobs.

I hear that the main difference is that a lot of people in the US do not get paid enough, and actually require tips to get a wage to live on. Since tipping is ingrained in US society, employees have used it as a justification to start paying people less. This is evil.

Much better to get paid a fair wage as in most other countries, and not require tipping.
