    I watched this on the news last night. I'm not sure what they're called, but there were religious leaders trying to block people from throwing stones at the riot police. It was ineffectual, but the man was there and he was standing with his back to the police and trying to calm his people.

    I find that if you're trying to get a specific genre on last.fm, you can use the custom radio feature. Try going to the radio page and entering more than one artist from that genre. It's all about statistics. Last.fm can do more if you provide more data to work with.

    Yep, I played Wow for a bit but didn't renew my subscription. I enjoyed my time there but it's takes way too much time to do (or in my case, get to) higher level content.

    I'm not going to throw any numbers around (I'm not good at that), but I'd like to make some observations. According to your numebrs (and the article), these people are spending 12h a day for the seasonal jobs. Wouldn't that imply that these temp employees were under employed before the warehouse jobs? Unless they're cramming in another job in addition to the 12h days, an alternative that seems highly unlikely.

    So if they are taking these amazon jobs, then doesn't that mean that amazon is the only employer that was going to hire them? If there was an employer that paid more and was located closer to them, wouldn't these people have looked for that job?

    As a student, idle usually means that the person is working and is too busy to be on the computer. Otherwise, they're probably chatting with people or webbrowsing. ;)
