Yeah, maybe there could be less sugar produced in the world and perhaps, this could make the consumption drop. But in my opinion, that's not what's making people become diabetic.
What's making them become diabetic is:
poor nutrition habits
poor exercice habits
more importantly, the FACT that everything has suger in it.
Seriously, if you start checking the ingredients in the food you buy, you'll notice that everything has sugar in it. Even things that should not. This article sums it up nicely.
... does anybody know how much money Uncle Ben's is getting on royalties from HP?
Hewlett-Packard researchers have developed a memory chip with wireless networking capabilities that is roughly the same size as a grain of rice, the company said Monday.
I surely hope they have other methods of screening applicants, because I think that some people are easily able to fool interviewers and sound passionate.
They are are just waiting to get hired and once they are, they lay back and start making all kinds of demands.
I find that doing reports is not what you aim for when finishing a CS diploma, but i find it to be a great entry level programming position. I agree that using MS Access can't be considered SQL, but some of us actually use MySQL, PostgreSQL or even MSSQL.
I also happen to be using Perl (Spreasheet::WriteExcel). It's great for generating Excel files without actually using Excel.
I considere myself to be a real IT guy; don't take anything from me just cause I'm programming reports.
Well.. not quite so, I started watching anime thru fansubs and I still do. I tend to buy the DVD's of animes I like (I actually have a nice collection =).. and that are priced right! I will not fork 30 CDN $ for 4 episodes, paying more then 4-5 CDN $ per episode is a complete waste of money as far as I'm concerned, I am willing to wait for the price to go down.
Furthermore, I will NEVER buy anime that I havn't seen in fansub before because of the simple fact that not all anime are fun to watch (just like movies).
I presume you are thinking this way because you know nothing about either economy nor terrorism. If you knew a bit about how the US conducts business with his "trade partners" of the rest of the world, you'd say otherwise. Embargo this, RAISE import taxes on that... The USA is a big country and a lot of countries in the rest of the world depend greatly on business with the USA.
As for terrorism, I reaaly encourage you to learn about why some of the Middle East countries ar mad at the USA and why the USA feels the need to do preventive wars. You'll also find out why the rest of the world doesn't feel like it'S their business to stop this so called terrorism.
The rest of the world takes a calculated blind eye on terrorism, knowing that America will probably be the target and/or come to the defense of anyone hit hard
When you said America, you ment the continent, right? As in Canada, the USA, Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, etc.

will that thing be able to predict when Godzilla will strike again? I think that Japenese people need that kind of information, IMHO.

Report Guys are not really IT? I resent that.

To get 30 hours of battery life instead of 3, all you have to do is: "up,up,down, down, left, right, left, right,b,a,b,a,sta rt". Trust me, it works!!
Here you go!! You can watch this in your favorite Flash supporting web browser for 4 hours in a row!

Movie starts and The Rock says: "Finally, The Rock has come back to Mars!!"
He kicks serious monster butt during 1h30.
Movie finishes with him saying: "If you smelllllllelelelelelelelelel! what The Rock is cooking" and he raises is right eyebrow.
During the movie, you also ear some voice overs by Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawlor.
What would it take, in your opinion, to make UNIX more known to the personal computing public? Is it a good idea to bring UNIX to them?
A TIT D, for 200$ Trebek!
