    Frankly I don't know what to think. All I know about science and Bush is the decision regarding stem cell research. But you can't possibly say science and technology is declining... after all, we constantly hear about new inventions in technology, new processor architectures, etc, etc.

    Now, if you mean a RELATIVE decline of science and technology comparing with other countries, well that's a very different story.

    Let's send the signal thru giant antennas and it will be encoded with electromagnetic waves, using Amplitude and Frequency Modulation. The devices are so simple they don't require digital technology.

    With this, you can even choose with an analog dial, which emitters (let's call them "stations") to listen to the advertisers! Furthermore, why stop with advertising? Let's add content, like news or music, too!

    Forget about podcasting, bluecasting. The future is "wavecasting"! It'll rock!

    If they want us to invest so much money in friggin' DRM'ed players, why don't they just give away their content in lo-res so only those wh ocan afford it, will be able to see the HD?

    I ain't spending any money on a HD movie if all i'm getting is lowdef. If I already paid for it, why should spend even more? I just hope someone declares DRM to be inconstitutional or something...

    They find it objectionable...fuck'em. Let's see what their attitudes are when their ass is on the line.

    You haven't heard of Jehovah's Witnesses, huh? They refuse blood transfusions because they consider it a sin. Many have died because of that.

    In any case, i doubt christians will ever get the chance to test their attitudes... stem cell research is still in a very primitive stage. And I bet people might live longer if they stop consuming trash food and begin doing exercise instead of watching TV eating french fries or something - "couch potato" is certainly not an adjective applicable to christians, you know...

    Finally, christians have a clear attitude towards death. A christian (at least one worthy of the name) will accept death as part of God's will. So I think embrionic stem cells is something christians can definitely skip.

    The point of filling windows with open source is that one day we'll be so filled with OSS that one day moving to linux will mean "just download the linux versions of my favorite apps". :)

    Depends on your definition of "embracing". If by embracing you understand "seizing and taking control of an open source project", yes, the Mambo Foundation really embraced it!

    Well I say screw them. We can use OpenMambo (suggested name) anytime we want. Sooner or later the original will become obsolete.

    Apple doesn't want to sell you a $100 operating system, they want to sell you a $1000 computer.

    Well, they could sell 1 x $1000 computer = $1000...
    or 50 x $100 OS = $5000.
