I also buy from Amazon, and call me a hypocrite if you will, but so do you.
You're delusional if you think that everybody shops with Amazon. Some of us still have morals. Not everyone is a selfish piece of shit that knowingly causes other people harm for their own convenience.
Taxcloud is just one service, that's already integrated into various e-commerce shopping carts. We've been using it for about a year. It costs us $10/month. This isn't a real problem.
I fly weekly, so I see all kinds of zombified people from all over the place pretty frequently. I make a point to see what people are doing on their gadgets, and 9/10 people use them to play some mindless games or watch some movie or use some social media. If people used phones for doing something useful with their lives, I doubt we'd even be having this discussion. The problem is that most people are filling their minds with trash, and do, indeed seem to be addicted to doing such.
If you believe that Facebook is going to voluntarily give you their core product for free, please contact me. I have a *great* investment that you might be interested in. This bridge is used by tens of thousands of people a day, and would be a great addition to your portfolio.
Most people got less than $1000/year in temporary tax reduction, paid for by debt. That doesn't do shit to the economy. Long term, every expert says that this tax change will significantly harm the economy.
That's it? That's all you got? Rich people got lower taxes, so all of a sudden, the economy is awesome? If you believe that, I've got a bridge to sell you.
So, what exactly did this very stable genius do to make the economy so much better, in your estimate? Aside from allowing some big companies to pollute some more, I'm not aware that he has signed any meaningful legislation at all.
That is pretty neat. But Twitter is a for-profit company. They're going to want to make money, eventually. Invariably, that means that they're going to close things off once the money gets tight. Hanging your hat on a company/service that you don't own is never going to work out well in the long run.
Now a similar, non-profit system like Twitter, could be done well, and could be as extensible as you describe. Maybe somebody will want to do something like that, eventually...?
So a few dummies built their entire businesses around relying on the good will of a single completely unrelated business. Big deal. They deserve to go out of business for such a dumb, short-sighted decision.
Does it, though? People using Facebook are already doing so because they don't care about their data. Other people already know they shouldn't give their data to Facebook. I think that stuff like this has zero impact on Facebook.
That was a shitty compromise that had to be made. The fact is that millions of people have health care now that didn't before the ACA. Do I have to say that that's a good thing?
Yup, I was wrong. Still, it's not a fucking burden.
It's not illegal to ask candidates about children or marital status. That's a lie.
... but it's a burden to *not* ask somebody what their gender or ethnic origin is? Why is that difficult?

Oh, fuck you. What are these horrible, scary regulations that you speak of? Name some.
What does this even mean? What does "making a skill" have to do with those stupid recording devices?

You may ask how I know, I run a business,
You should probably try a bit harder, then. http://taxcloud.com

nobody outside has the right to tell you what that balance has to be
Luckily for you, nobody is telling you what that balance has to be.
Is this kid a Trump?
You gotta be crazy to use a "free" email service for anything. Email is $2/month.

You got a tax cut, check your check stubs.

I don't miss my Windows phone. I'm using it right now. What kind of idiot writes this kind of junk?

Liar. You don't have grounds for a lawsuit if there's no consideration.

Even the general public can't be dim enough to continue contributing to this Orwellian freakshow.
I think that you grossly are overestimating intelligence of the general public. Have you seen who they elected as their president in the US?
That is probably the most misinformed statement I've read today. Are you trolling, or truly that misinformed?
This sort of move looks terrible.

People who do what they want with their own servers are "assholes"? Who are you, Big Brother? Fuck off.
This is their service running on their servers. They can do whatever they want with it. Why would anybody be surprised?
I also have my own servers, and I can also delete whatever I want from them. So what?
